Leon and Tina graduated from North Central Bible College (now North Central University) in the early 1990’s.  While Leon was a student at North Central, God laid a burden on his heart for university students. After graduation, Leon was involved with campus ministry on a volunteer basis at the University of Minnesota.  Later, he and Tina served as volunteer campus workers at Century College in White Bear Lake, MN.  In the spring of 1999 they completed a one-year Campus Missionary-In-Training program at Eastern Michigan University.  The Longards served as directors of Chi Alpha Campus Ministries at the University of Minnesota for five years. After helping with a church plant in Minneapolis for two years and a short sabbatical, Leon and Tina are rejoining Chi Alpha to assist in the development of new ministries in the state of Indiana. The Longards are also blessed with three delightful girls: Katiana, Elaina, and Natalia.
