FAQ- Frequently Asked Questions
- 1. HOW CAN I BE FORGIVEN, I'VE COMMITTED TOO MANY AWFUL SINS?
Jesus came to save ALL sinners. He has come to seek you out (Luke 19:10). No matter how "scarlet" your sins are, He will make them as "white" as snow (Isaiah 1:18). If you come to Him, He will not cast you out (John 6:37).
2. I DON'T BELIEVE I NEED CHURCH, IT'S FULL OF TOO MANY HYPOCRITES.
Hypocrites are lost! If you let them keep you from church, you are no better than they are and you will spend eternity with them (Matthew 23:27-33).
3. HOW CAN A LOVING GOD SEND ANYONE TO HELL?
God doesn't "send" anyone to hell, your sins do. You are either saved or lost and it is your choice. God gives you the right to choose, He set it before you to choose life eternal with Him or death and separation from Him, if you don't choose Him. It is totally up to you!(Ps.1:5-6).
4. I THINK I HAVE COMMITTED THE UNPARDONABLE SIN, PLEASE HELP ME.
If you committed the unpardonable sin you wouldn't ask for help. You would have no desire to learn of the things of Christ. So all you have to do is repent and asked God to forgive your sins and He will. (Matt.12:31-32).
5. WHAT IF MY FAMILY TURNS AGAINST ME IF I GIVE MY LIFE TO JESUS?
Unbelieving members of your family, truely may turn from you if you surrender to Christ. (Luke 12:51-53 - Matt. 10:36). Sometimes your worst hinderances are in your own household. Jesus "layed down" his life for you, you will have to "stand up" for Him. Once you give your life to God, He will help you be an example and a light to your family.
6. MY SPOUSE IS NOT SAVED. WHAT SHOULD I DO?
That question can be answered in six words.."live by example", "pray for them"(1 Peter 3:1,7).
7. I WAS ONCE A CHRISTIAN AND HAVE BACKSLIDEN. WILL GOD ACCEPT ME BACK AGAIN?
God is a loving Father and welcomes with open arms, His children that have strayed. (Jeremiah 3:14-15,22).
8. HOW DO I CONTROL MY REBELLIOUS CHILD?
Correction through disipline is God's answer and it also comes with a reward for you. (Prov. 29:17). If "you" will become obedient to the Word and correct the unruly child, this scripture says he will give you REST and give DELIGHT to your soul.
9. DO I HAVE TO PAY TITHE?
Let's first take the "have to" out of the question. The fullness of the entire earth is God's to begin with. (Psalms 24:1). He has gladly given you 90% to enjoy. The 10% you question is not spoken by God as "your choice", it a command by Him and the proving ground for His faithfulness. (Malachi 3:10-11). God will then rebuke the devil on your behalf!
10. I CAN'T SEEM TO GET TRUTH ACROSS TO THOSE I LOVE NO MATTER HOW HARD I TRY, WHAT CAN I DO?
A gentle spirit that does not quarrel always works better than one that argues. An arguement always involves two people. Suddenly, the very one you're trying to convert becomes an opponent and there is only "one" winner. In the matter of Christanity, there needs to be two winners. Do not quarrel, be gentle to all. (2 Timothy 2:24-26).
11. I NEED PEACE IN MY LIFE, HOW DO I GET IT?
Jesus Christ the Son of God "is" the PRINCE OF PEACE. To seek after peace is to seek Him. Psalms 34:14 tells us to seek peace and pursue it! If we seek the Prince of Peace we will find Him and this pleases God so much that Prov. 16:7 says, even our enemies will be at peace with us.
12. I NEED HEALING IN MY BODY, CAN A PERSON REALLY BE HEALED TODAY?
Most definitely healing is for today! When Jesus suffered on the cross, it was for more than forgiveness of sins. Isaiah 53:5 tells us that each stripe laid upon the back of Jesus was for our healing. If a package has been delivered to the post office for you to pick up, the only way to receive it is to go get it. The way to receive your healing, is to have faith and pray for it. The bible says in Mathew 21: 21-23, And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive. If your faith is weak, call for others that believe "and the prayer of faith will save the sick". (James 5:15).
DON'T SIMPLY TAKE OUR WORD IN ANSWER TO THESE QUESTIONS. LOOK UP ALL THE SCRIPTURES AND PROVE IT TO YOURSELF. ONLY BELIEVE, FOR "ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE TO HIM THAT BELIEVETH".(MARK 9:23).
