My favorite thought:
'A woman's heart should be so hidden in the true and living God, that a man should have to seek Him first to find her.'
If after reading through my thoughts in Poetry or if you feel God is talking to you in life, calling you to Him. This is the most wonderous gift you have ever been offered from the Best friend you have ever had. You need to turn your heart over to Him now we are not assured of tomorrow. Get on your knees right now and ask Him for forgivness of you sins tell him you believe in Him and you want to be his Child. Jesus said "I am the WAY the TRUTH and THE LIFE. No one comes to the Father except through ME".....
Believe in Jesus and give your heart to Him.
Please go to someone who loves the Lord near you and tell them. Find a good Bible believing church and join with them. This world is turning away from our God. And the day of His coming is so very near. When He comes let Him find you here waiting for Him as his Child. If you want to talk about this more write to me letling@siue.edu I will tell you what He has done for me. What a Friend we have in Jesus...

"NEW"
"The Umbrella"
Raining, sloshing go all the kids
The bus stop blocks away
But a dear mother stands with her umbrella
For the daughter on that rainy day
She walked all the way over there
That day the rain did fall
She cared enough and gave enough
For her Kids this mom gave all
But the daughter was very rebellious
And cringed to see her there
For her reputation she thought was ruined
The embarrassment she could not bare
She was only thinking of herself
Not caring about her mom
So insecure of what others thought
She got off and just stomped on
Few words she said to her precious mom
She didn’t want her there
She walked right by without saying much
The thought now is hard to bare
For yes I was that spoiled young child
And 40 years have passed
I think about how wonderful she was
And how our time didn’t last
To have that day back with mom
To hug her as I should
And thank her for all the love she gave
Tell her now that I understood
For I have children of my own
And mom is home with God
I have that love a mother feels
For her child and the path they trod
Stepping back and looking at this
It’s an example of Gods love
For many times we walk right by
Not knowing this love from above
He is so precious, He is always there
With an umbrella of mercy and Grace
But as a spoiled child so many times
We turn from his loving face
Our Father in Heaven is by our side
Through all the storms of life
He calls our name to come to Him
Few come and soon face strife….
“It’s not the right time for me right now”
“My friends will not understand”
“Just leave me alone this embarrasses me”
“Hang on to your Great Plan”
But Oh dear friend there will come a day
When troubles around you flow
Or His call you will not hear anymore
Will you cry for His love to know?
Oh mom was always there for me
Even though I was so wrong
Our God will always be there for you
When you find where you belong
Just as my mom stood there for me
So much more God loves us so
Oh get under His Umbrella of Love and Grace
And His Mercy for you will flow

"Lord I Stand Before You"
Lord I stand alone before you.
My soul lay at your feet
I seek your wisdom and your strength
In life’s walk I am so weak
You are my guiding light dear Lord
You are the King of Kings
But yet you are my Father and friend
Loving Mercy and Grace you bring
Forgive me of my failures Lord
Let your wisdom rain down
Stand with me Lord where ere I go
when satan’s darts fly all around
With every Mountain that I climb
the valley waits below
You are with me and you hold my hand
with streams of GRACE that flow
Thank you for our quiet times
my heart cries out to you
I beg your love for all I know
give them life brand new
I sing my love through feeble words
so unworthy for you
All Choirs of Angels sing your praise
My heart sings with them too
My King, My Lord, My Master and Friend
Never turn from me
Mold me into your Child today
Oh this, on my knees I plea
Please bring our Nation back to you
your wisdom we desire
Show Satan’s demons their great defeat
Let us never tire
Give us strength to stand to the end
Come quickly Lord I pray
Bring revival back to our land again
Start with ME in my walk today.

"A MOTHERS MEMORIAL DAY PRAYER"
To the mothers of the sons and daughters that our Flag flies at half mast for I dedicate this to you"
It’s Memorial Day today
I hear the bands uptown
I’m sure there are many flags
Hanging all around
Soon the BBQ will fill the air
Friends and family will come
Many will laugh and celebrate
This day means only fun
Oh to me this day means not the same
For they came knocking at my door
With news that changed our life forever
On my knees I dropped to the floor
They said my son has died in battle
That he was brave to the end
He died for God and Country
Be proud when sorrow begins
A strong and honored man he was
He loved this country so
He happily gave his life for her
If only all would know
He saw the value of freedom
He stood bravely against the foe
I still see his smile and feel his Hugs
If only people would know
Our boys feel love and strength inside
In the uniform that they wear
They would proudly do it all again
Because for you they care.
There are no words that we can say
describing these women and men
No amount of gratitude is enough
To show the love within
For they wear their uniform with honor
We all need to stop and pray
Each time we see them say THANKYOU
And may God Bless them along the way
The last full measure of Devotion
My son gave to each one of us
As many many others have before
In their strength we must trust
We too must be dedicated to this land
To keep this country free
For freedom isn’t free at all
For my son this I plea
Turn back to God oh mighty Nation
may all dedicate their life to you
May all who live here love Her
And stand for freedom too
Don’t give in to the Devil
Don’t turn your back on God
One Nation indivisible
Oh my son died for the land you trod
Be strong in your love for Her
Make it a great land again
Turn your backs on evil
For it’s her people that need faith again
So today when you’re having fun
In the joy of all you do
Step back a moment and say a prayer

"Rhythm of Earth the Touch of God"
Oh gentle breezes blowing
Oh mighty waves of sea
Touch my soul and stir my heart
Draw me close to thee
For as the gentle wind does blow
I close my eyes and feel
My God reach down with his dear love
And know He is so real
Or standing on the sandy shores
Looking out across the sea
Watching the mighty waves roll in
And feel Gods strength in me.
For Nature sings a precious song
One of grace and peace to all
It surrounds us with the Love of God
And fills our souls with awe
We do not see the God we serve
Or touch Him here each day
But he talks to us and walks with us
And guides us along the way
Nature sings His song brand new
Each day that passes by
Telling us that His Love is near
Just listen don’t ask why?
For as the wind flows across this land
And the waves roll into shore
His faithful love is shown to us
And we need nothing more
So when you feel the gentle breeze
Or watch the rolling Sea
Look to God and give Him thanks
For His love surroundeth thee.

"For The Love Of James"
Dedicated to my Daughter and her true love James
I sit here dreaming of an angel I’ve met
who will never be compared
I don’t know why God sent him my way
but for now our love is shared
Oh let me be what he needs in life
And show me what to do
For I am young and not sure of myself
God I give our love to you
Keep us pure in heart and soul
Show us the path you lead
Guide our walk to be for you
Together your blessings we need
You reached down and gave me an Angel
He is perfect in every way
So warm and loving and gentle to me

Standing on the shores of life
Looking to our God
Praising His Holy Precious name
asking wisdom in life’s fog
Oh Savior Lord my Dearest friend
Stay close to our side
Give me words to tell the world
Of the mercy you provide
Sing oh sing sweet angels above
Let all earth and nature hear
Praises to our mighty God and King
Wiping away all fear
Lord you could raise your hands above
This world where we reside
And wipe away all demons power
Destroy it where it hides

where true love sails
Wait on God

He has a path
planned out for you
and on that path
true love waits too...
Just look to Him
you'll find His will
stray from His path
no fulfillment filled

Then seeks God's blessing

"PRAY"
What do you do
when faced with a need?
Who do you turn to
with cares to plead?
Life seems so dark
We can’t find a way
OR the hurts so deep
All you do is pray
We are never alone
In emptiness we feel
Though the devil know
The joy he steals
But it’s only the moment
The darkness invades
For if we call on Jesus
All fear will fade.
We serve the King of Kings
Who hears our prayers
Our FATHER in Heaven
With love so rare
The Bright and Shining Star
That shines in the east
Will guide our steps
And give us peace
Oh many are the battles
In life we fight
When the demons on earth
Shout with delight
But we have a Savior
Who walks by our side
Through FAITH in HIM
His love abides
Oh He is the Master
Over life’s stormy seas
Though storms will blow
His Love calls peace
For even the Sparrow
Is in His hands
Protected and cared for
In Gods loving plan
We all face troubles
In fear look to Him
For He holds the future
With Prayer peace begins
He holds our life if we believe
And guides the path that we will lead
His plan is set He knows our need
Just pray to Him and believe!

Gone home to be with the Lord Oct 21, 2009
Today there is a new angel in Heaven
Walking, and laughing at play
I know our loved ones gone on before
Welcomed her home to stay
I would have loved to see her face
As all the wonders she beheld
As she realized she had a brand new body
Oh the story she could tell
I know she ran right to the Children
She loved the little ones so
That would be a wondrous heaven for her
for with children her love flowed
I am sure if there are Puppies and Kittens
She’s playing and holding them too
All that was sweet and kind and soft
She will find in her home so new
We know you’re in a much better place
Than this cold old world down here
And I know you’re in HIS gentle arms
So we have no need to fear
You loved our God while on this earth
And you gave your life to Him
He will open HIS loving arms to you
What a peace we have within
Someday we’ll be there with you
What a joyful day we’ll see
I know you’ll be there waiting
To show us all that heaven will be
Thank you Lord for being there
And the peace we feel today
No greater Love could heal this pain

"A CHRISTIAN NATION"
I believe in land called America
And the faith that she still holds
I believe in the people who walk this land
Though to Satan our souls we’ve sold
I believe we still hold the strength to stand
And show our King we know
He has carried us through the darkest storm
And with Him we all shall always go
I believe in HOPE when we see there’s none
For we KNOW OUR God still Reigns
I believe that many will stand for Him
And His Blood flows through our Veins
I believe there’s Faith still strong in our land
Just waiting to take its stand!
I believe our God is bigger than all
Of satan’s demons who rule our land!
OH Christian its time our silence must end
We are His and HE is our King
So let your faith in our God Show bright
And may the bells of UNITY ring
We are ONE Nation Under our God
Indivisible with liberty and justice for all
We are the Continent where Freedom Rings
For its people who’s allegiance stands tall!
We are the voters who choose its leaders
Of a Nation now in captivity stands
We are the Children of our Precious Savior and Lord
Who will follow and know his plan
So Christians its time we have been given the call
For our Nation is under attack
We must stand and vote and voice our faith
So God will give Liberty back………
Let us join now as a Nation in one accord
For which our Fathers fought and died
To loose now what they gave their life for
Would be a sin we can not abide……
We the people of this Great Land
are the voice of men who lead
But they don’t speak of the Nations Faith
And for this now we bleed
Buts is a flesh wound that can be healed
Oh yes, one that will leave a scare
But it will be a reminder of our weakest days
When our children see it a far.
Let them look back on History and read
Of days when satan tried
To win our Nation over to him
But we fought in FAITH and Pride!

Just stopping to Praise you Lord today
To say that I love you
To thank you for your love and care,
in this life that I pursue
Your love and grace has rained on me
Through all that I have faced
You are always there right by my side
And each worry you've erased
Your gift of Love is beyond compare
To anything this world could give
Unending forgiveness, mercy and peace
Forever for you I'll live.
Oh King of all the Universe
I praise you on bended knee
For all should bow their head to you
And then watch satan flee
You're the greatest friend and Father
Any human could ever have
You guide and protect us where err we go
healing pain with mercy's salve.
I love you my Savior Lord and King
following you in my feeble way
Give me strength to complete this journey

To show your plan for life

"HELLO LORD"
Just wanted to tell you I loved you today
And sit with you for awhile.
To feel your warmth and love again,
what a gift from a Father to a child.
I know I can always come to you
I know your always there
You are my dearest friend my Lord
For you always show your care
You sit there beside me silently each day
Watching the mistakes I make
But you wrap your loving arms around me
To guide the path I take
Lord why are you so good to me
Wiping my sinful slate clean
I’m so unworthy of your sweet love
For my failures you have seen
But you are there for me each day
Watching so I won’t fall
This Grace and mercy is a such a gift
I give you my life, my all
Lord tell me what I can do for you
Show me where I should be
Guide my feet and my walk for you
Let others see your light in me

"God's Love "
When I think of all, that God has done
From the mountains to the seas
I stand in aw of the God we serve
And bow down at His feet
For He looked down from Heaven above
To touch this heart of mine
He could have turned and walked away
But He allowed His Love to shine
He gave His Son to shed His blood
To pay the debt I owed
What greater gift could our God give?
Than His Son that He loved so
What greater Love did Jesus give?
To walk that lonely road
To suffer and die on that cruel tree
And carry all our load
I cry out to you My Lord and King
In praise and Love today
Thank you for what you did for me
In gratitude I bow and pray
I owe you my Life my heart my soul
For all you've done for me
Show me Lord what I can do
While on this earth for thee
Show them Lord your Precious Love
So all around will know
That you're the Master, Lord and King
And with you all Mercy flows

“The Firefighter”
The Guardian Angels in our life
Are those who chose to serve
Those who sit there waiting
What’s around the next curve
Men and Women who have dedicated
Their very lives to us
Who face the dangers daily
To you our lives we trust
These wonderful selfless people
Will be there when we call
No matter what danger they face
They always give their all
The fire fighters needs come last
when that siren blows
He is running to protect us
For time is short he knows
They put their lives on the line
For strangers they never met
But the care and protection given
Is truly without regret!
I want to thank the fire fighters
For everything they do
You give us all great comfort
In the work that you pursue
From each fire that you fight
To each child that you save
To the vision of a crumbled car
To the comfort that you gave
We thank you for all you’ve done
For all that will come to be
We pray for each one’s safety
God provide each firefighters needs
Be with each one as they struggle
Through the pain they will face
Give them strength to carry on
Rain down on them your Grace.
For each of them are Angels
Sent to help us along the way
What precious dedication
That could never be repaid

“MY LOVE”
I look at you and can not believe
The deep love I feel inside
For your gift of love warmly given to me
Heaven on earth my heart abides
As we walk each day along the way
Hand in hand in all we do
We need nothing more than what we have
In the world of me and you
Its such a blessing to know your there
For me in every way
You give of yourself without a thought
And I see this day after day.
God must have allowed an angel to come down
And live within my walls
Because no one compares to your precious love
And in your arms I will always fall
Reach out to me in all you need
For I promise my Love to you

“VOTE”
We must cast our vote
For the one who loves God
For the one who will stand
Against all of the odds
Which one hates Abortion
Which one claims His love
Which one seeks humility
And Grace from Above
We must cast our vote
In the coming few weeks
For the one who love freedom
the one patriotism seeks
Oh I am calling all Christians
To stand for our Land
Vote for each of our Soldiers
Who fights Freedoms great plan
Remember our Mission
Is to live Godly lives
Not change this Land’s standards
But in morality strive
Come one and come all
Who BELIEVE in our God
Who’ll stand for our freedom
In this country we trod
Don’t turn your backs now
On this election we face
For it’s our duty to vote
And win Patriotisms race
No Man will be perfect
But we must take a stand
For the conservative cause
That’s our Nations plan
The Devil is creeping in
On our Beloved great land
But we are Gods Children
We must take a stand
Every vote we have matters
In this race we will see
For evil is close
But GOD will have victory!
Don’t worry or Fret
Just come take your place
Let’s show God we are His
It’s a conservative race!
Oh I love this great land
Its so good to be Free
We can pray to our God

When days seem dark
My Lord is near
Just look to Him
He’ll calm all fear
What a friend we have
That will guide our way
Through worry and fear
That clouds our day
There is no problem
He can not solve
In His love and care
He’ll give His all
There is no need
For the tears we cry
For He’s right here
And with us resides
Oh call to Him
When cold winds blow
And BELIEVE in Him
For there’s Grace untold
Lay down your cares
In His loving hands
And walk away
Just believe He can
Yes all the world
May cry and moan
When troubles come
For no hope they own
But those who believe
In the Fathers love
Just snuggle deep
In Grace from above.

"My Son"
Dedicated to Jim and Jeffery
I sit and listen to him breath
As he sleeps
This little guy has touched
My heart so deep
He was created by another
Who left long ago
But God allowed me here
And his DAD I am known
He follows me and watches me
In all that I do
I didn’t know how great
Life would be with you
So much to live up to
In these beautiful eyes
For he watches what I do
And my actions he tries
He’s growing so fast
This little guy of mine
I would do all I could
For our love so entwined
I sit there and watch him
As he plays with his cars
And I thank God above
As I look to the stars
For why did I deserve,
this precious boys love?
I realize what a gift
Has been given from above….
I promise you God I will
Take care of him
I will be there to help him
When Lifes troubles win
Help me to be
the man I should be
For I want him to grow
and gain wisdom from me

I’m walking beside
The love of my life
Just enjoying the days
As we watch them pass by
For we have been given
This gift of love
And the friendship we share

Oh Savior Master Lord and King
I bow down now at your feet
Thank you for your Love and Grace
Where sins abide, now retreat
Where the Devil’s darts are continually thrown
At my soul my heart my mind
Lay your hands over me in precious peace
Let not satan’s web entwine.
Give me wisdom and strength to walk
Against strong winds of life
Where the battles fierce and troubles come
And we face continual strife.
Feed my soul with your words of love
And strengthen my faith in them

"TAKE TIME"
I want you to stop from your busy day
And forget about your troubles
Sit back and rest get a glass of tea
While the world continues its struggles
Or take a long walk down a shady path
And listen to the birds
Feel the sun shine to warm the earth
Hear nature around you stir
I want you to think about all God has done
And the miracles that you’ve seen
For He has walked with you each and every day
And has heard your thoughts and dreams
Close your eyes now in thankful praise
Tell Him all your cares
Oh He’s listening for you to call His name
And lay your burdens there
The peaceful sounds that nature sings
And the flowers as they bloom
Will warm the heart and calm the soul
So take time to visit soon
God has blessed this earth with wondrous Love
He has provided all we need
He carefully tenderly cares for us all
Down to the smallest seed
So sit back now and take some time
To listen to earth songs
It’s as if Angels lead and all nature sings
And its right where we belong.

"DON’T LET YOUR HEARTS BE TROUBLED"
Come unto me oh sinner
I heard my Savior say
Don’t let your hearts be troubled
I will guide you through your day
For I am always with you
I’m just a prayer away
He said that if you trust in me
He’ll answer when we pray
Troubles soon this world will see
For its turn her back on Him
But we have no need to worry or fear
For we have His peace within
No matter what the Devil’s plan
Our Lord will see us through
Our Father’s watching from above
His Angels surround us too!
So when your heart is troubled
Just turn to Him and pray
Fears arrows can not touch our heart
When on our knees we stay!

"His Steps"
He took those many precious steps
From a cold dark lonely tomb
A King arose from within those walls
To save this world from ruin
Steps of Love He took for us
But yet they knew him not
Steps of Grace and forgiving Love
His precious blood has brought
In those loving steps He took
With you and I in mind
He gave his life, this King and Lord
For many who were blind
But when He walked that glorious day
From a cold and lonely grave
Oh what wonderful steps to me
For my life, His life He gave
Now its time to step up for Him
come running to our King
He is waiting for us so patiently
Give the Angels reason to sing!
Long and lonely difficult steps
He walked for His Fathers Plan
Couldn’t you take a few for Him
For this life holds sinking sand!
I pray God open the eyes of all
To see His plans for them
That not one would leave this life alone
and all would ask Him in.
It's a gift of Grace from a merciful King
Given freely to all who’ll receive
life so wonderful walking with Him

"A Mothers Prayer"
My children are almost grown now Lord
The teen years belong to all three
We have so many plans for them
But the greatest to follow thee.
Oh Lord please surround each one of them
with your loving gracious arms
Protect them from this wicked world
Keep them from all harm
Love them though they don't see the value
Of daily living for thee
They know the truth and believe in you
But the devil is turning the key
Put walls around to keep them close
And never let them go
Walk with them through all their life
Oh I pray your love they know
Make me Lord know just what to say
So they will hear each word
That you're the only answer to life
Oh let their hearts be stirred
I 'm just a mom down here on earth
we taught them of your love
I hand them over to you my King
Send wisdom from above
At this age I feel so helpless Lord
The dangers around them flow
But Lord I know you care for them
Please beside them go
Forgive me where I have failed
To teach them more of you
Take over Lord where I am weak
Give them life brand new
Remember Lord the day they were born
I look to you above
I gave them to you when each arrived
They are yours with all my love!

"When God Sends A Miracle"
When God sends us a miracle
Do you bow your head and pray
For He reached down and touched that need
And provided you a way
He hears and knows your deepest thought
And listens when you call
Oh when God sends a miracle
You know he's given all!
He sends His miracles every day
In the seasons of this earth
The dead and dying winter sleeps
But in spring He gives new birth!
The birds that sing the flowers that bloom
All miracles come from Him
Gifts He gives us every day
To see new life begin
Each breath we breathe each beating heart
is a miracle from our King
For without Him there is no hope
Every day new gifts He brings
We watch a dear one pass from Life
And beg their soul to spare
For we need them close here by our side
Letting go we can not bear
But our precious loving God above
Knows the miracle that they need
Is a life and body made brand new
And their spirit He sets free
He gave the greatest Miracle of all
So many years ago
When He sent His son to Calvary
His blood, that cross did flow
Oh when God sends us a Miracle
There's no question it’s from Him
For Jesus paid the price for all
To free this world from sin
Let us thank Him for the Miracles now
that comes from heaven above
Oh turn you heart to Him today
Accept His endless Love
For God will give you the greatest gift
If you'll only run to Him
He'll touch your life and make it new
Oh let the miracle begin!
I thank you Lord for Miracles
You send to us each day
Thank you Lord for your great Love
and Blessings along the way
I praise you Lord for what you gave
to set me free from sin

"The Day Will Come"
The Day will come, no man knows when
that all the world shall see
the coming of the King of Kings
to set believers free
The day will come when we will know
the sound of His great call
For He'll stand before us in "Amazing Grace"
and be known to believers all!
In that day will they understand
they turned from the greatest gift?
Or will they go on a sinful world
Not even a little miffed?
In that day when our Lord comes,
as a thief there in the night
How many will know his Loving call
How many have hearts right?
I pray your ready for that coming day
and your soul our savior knows
for when he calls our time is done
those He knows, with Him will go
Keep looking for that coming day
when we'll bow there at His feet
for in that day we shall finally see
satan's great defeat!
Oh sad day after His precious call
and darkness fills the land
the cries and moans from our loved ones hearts

"The Dream"
I dreamed last night that I could not help
The ones that I love so
The pain I felt and clinching hands
On my knees I had to go
This was the darkest, saddest night
My soul has had to bear
My fear and trembling flowed so deep
I screamed in deep despair
I looked upon my dear ones eyes
And saw sadness deep within
For they knew then, that I kept inside
The secret to be free from sin
They cried out to me in longing tears
Why didn’t you share the truth?
Why didn’t you keep me from this fate?
And begged the chains be loose
I could not move, no power I had
My Lords blood was not known
My precious loved ones turned from God
Now hear their mournful groans.
I prayed dear Lord why show me this
When their chances are no more
Why Lord didn’t I tell the words?
And your plan to them outpour!
Oh Lord please, make this be a dream
This pain I can not stand
For because of me, they saw no need
To search out your precious plan
My weakness in living boldly for you
And sharing your love for them
Has now become my greatest goal
If only more time you’d send
Oh precious Lord send mercy down
On my family and my friends
Show them Lord your love through me
Let all know your peace within!
For when its time to say goodbye
I need to know I tried
To help them toward your loving arms
And their soul with you abides.

"Our First Steps in Heaven"
I'm looking forward to a brand new day
One so bright and clear
This day I’m looking forward to
I pray is very near
For on this day we’ll take our steps
Into a brand new land
A place where our dear loved ones wait
To run and take our hand
They have a precious story to tell
Many wonders they can show
For our King reigns in this new land
And oh I long to go.
Stop and think, can you just imagine?
happy moments we will share
They say there are no tears in heaven
But such happiness can we bare?
Look now for those golden streets
where any minute we shall see
Our King and Master upon His throne
And the angels on bended knees
When pondering this moment to come
chills run deep inside
With the vision of our Mighty Lord
and a home with Him reside
Why my precious Loving Lord
Would allow me to enter in
Is way beyond my understanding
But my heart is free with Him
That loving grace and merciful Love
Shown deep down in my heart
He called my name, I heard his voice
Right then my sins depart
Oh joyous day we soon shall see
I pray you know my Lord
For till that day he calls our name
those first steps I’ll be longing for!

"Gods With Us"
There will be many times in life
Our troubles will come and go
We fall down with our burdens
And pain we can’t let go
We struggle to just understand
The reasons and ask why?
For our burdens feel so very great
All is left to do is cry
The loss or hurt that we may feel
Clouds our minds from Gods Holy word
That He would never leave us
And our pain we can endure
For we know who is the guiding light
To our way in this old life
But we forget to turn to Jesus
With our pain &endless strife
Our vision will then be blinded
Our mind is filled with why?
If we would only lean on Him
Our fears away would fly
Don’t let the dark clouds gather
Know he hears our every woe
There is nothing that our God can’t do
Our worries he hears and knows
So turn right now to that guiding light
Keep you eyes upon the Lord
There is no one who cares as much
Or one who loves us more!

"My Dad"
There are no words that I could say
To describe the man I call dad.
Many times I’ve tried to write it down
To tell of the best friend I’ve had.
He’s strong in every walk of life
But yet taught us kindness too
His love for God runs so deep
For us, he prayed would too
His wisdom I always come running to
In times I feel I have none…
For I know his answers will direct my path
And the problem will be done!
No better Dad on this earth is found
Than the man God gave to me
For my precious Father in Heaven knew
He would be just what we need….
We have seen him as stable as a rock
When facing troubled times
We have seen him as humble as could be
When his gifts out shine
He is there for all he sees in need
And quick to make things right
But will walk away without a word
So no “Thank yous” are in sight
He taught me that our Savior sees
And knows our thoughts and deeds
With God we’re blessed, no need for worry
He’ll supply our every need.
Oh Lord in Heaven touch my Life
Make me be more like Dad
For his life is a wonderful example of
with God, what we can have
Love and care for my precious dad
Bless his every need
Keep him close, always by my side
For his precious love I need!
His Life’s the picture of Your love, Lord
He has given all to You
How blessed I’ve been to call him dad
For men like him are few!

"God Sends Angels"
God touches us in so many ways
Sending blessings from above
He sends us kind and loving hearts
In His wisdom and His love
These chosen few he touches
Are there for us each day
To encourage us and love us
And help along the way
My precious Aunt and Uncle
Are truly our dearest friends
They are two of Gods chosen few
Through them His love is sent
They love and care for all of us
And help broken hearts feel new
If ever there is a need they hear
They would be there for you too!
They strive to do Gods Precious will
In every step of their life
And in their walk have touched many hearts
For in them God’s love abides!
They always put all others first
And never a stranger known
There is no better example for us
Than the love these two have shown
I pray for them sweet blessings Lord
Keep them safe and warm
For I feel Your love just being close
To their loving outreached arms…
Watch over Aunt Betty and Uncle Don
They are the best friends we could find
They have shown me just how good God is
For through them His love shines!

There is a Circuit Rider preacher
who comes to our little church
He brings such words of wisdom
God has truly blessed his work!
He tells us of our Precious Lord
And how much God loves us all
He talks of sin and rebellion
With the devil we’ll surely fall!
This special man comes from so far
For its many miles from home
But you can see love in what he does
For God, many miles he’d roam
His wife comes too and sings for us
Praising God in music and song
The sweet refrains and words of joy
Surely Angels sing along
This old world has grown so cold
Few follow our Precious Lord
It’s rare to find a man who will stand
With Gods armor and His sword!
Thank you Lord for sending words
So powerful and true
Touch the men who stand for truth
For they guide us all to You.
Bless the Circuit Preacher Lord
Send blessings down his path
Let the words he brings open many hearts
Saving lost souls from satan’s wrath!
Keep sending him down our pathway Lord
And Keep them safe from harm
For they fill our hearts with Your sweet love

"Forgiven"
I found Grace in the eyes of the Savior
My Life has been touched by a King!
Oh what Love could look beyond such a sinner?
But the love that eternity brings!
So I stand now in the shadows of Mercy
He's brought Peace beyond compare,
May 10,000 Angels sing all His praises!
For someday, I'll sing with them there.
Why He chose to reach down and touch me
It's a miracle no one could explain,
Oh the gratitude I hope now to show Him
Flows more than the drops of rain!
Come sing now everyone with me
For we serve the King of Kings!
Oh most merciful loving Savior
Let all who hear now sing!
Praise His name from the tallest mountain!
Let it show that we walk with Him!
Stand tall against all that is evil
Let Peace flow through our land again!
I'm forgiven and so unworthy
Forgiven and Loved by Him!
He looked down from Heaven and touched me!
Now my Life has been Born Again!

"God's Grace"
They were young and very foolish
Only thinking of themselves
Heading to a hospital
To put a life upon a shelf
I hope this all goes fast she said
And we can walk away
He agreed and they continued
From this problem they'd run away
The time came fast and furious
The couple cheered that it was done
A small precious cry came from across the room
But they ignored it as if they'd won
The nurse picked up the little bundle
And the tears swelled in her eyes...
For she knew this little baby
Had no parents to calm her cries
She carried her so lovingly
To the bed so soft and warm
She thought of tender kisses
And her parents empty arms
She knew there was a miracle
About to happen for this little one
That hope and grace would fall on her
As God gave us, with His son!
For across town there is another couple
Waiting nervous on bended knees
"Oh Lord please make her healthy"
Know, we'll love her endlessly!
"For Your Grace and Love we thank you Lord"
How can we tell you so?
This gift you've given we'll hold with care
Your path we all will go......
Soon the phone rang a happy jingle
"Come she's waiting here for you"
They jumped, they ran, they giggled
For this Angel made life new!
The nurse still holding this precious gift
Looked deep into her eyes.
Oh little one, do not fear, for Grace
Will soon arise...
"Grace" she said, what a perfect name
I wonder would they mind?
With marker in hand she wrote it down
For its Grace this child would find.
Many loving faces, parents with tears
Peered into that nursery room
All looking at Angels softly sleeping
To the sweet nursery tunes.
Poor little Grace, lay all alone
No family, friends or love
She lay there sleeping without a care
Would a gift come from above?
Quietly, softly with twinkling tears
Two people stood close by
They looked around at all the beauty
Of sleeping babies and gave a sigh....
They heard the nurse say she's over here
"She's perfect in everyway".
They held each other close to see
This feeling...no words could say....
They looked upon this soft little baby
As if never seeing such a sight
She tenderly whispered "Oh Thank you Lord"
For your Grace rains down this night!
Then suddenly they both saw the card
That read "Grace" there at her feet
And tears flowed down from both of them
For truly, "God's Grace" lay there asleep!

"The Treasure Chest"
One told me something special
when my mother passed away
a story of truth and wisdom
revealed to me that day!
He stood beside her casket
with tears flowing down his face
as he told me this dear story
knowing mom's in a heavenly place.
He spoke of the casket
where my precious mother lay
He said there are two meanings
when that door is closed to stay.
He spoke of the casket door
closing on an unsaved soul
Oh how it was so final
sin would pay its hopeless toll!
He said when one is lost
and that casket door goes down,
It's done now, it's all over
satan's victory then abounds........
BUT, when that door is closing
on a child of the KING,
that casket becomes a Treasure Chest
Holding God's most precious Being.
This Treasure Chest will close
until Christ's wondrous return
the trumpet shall sound a mighty song
then God's promises will be learned!
He IS coming again dear friend
and the promise has been made,
The dead in Christ shall rise again
to a home with Him to stay.
Oh precious precious Treasure Chest
it holds one I so dearly loved,
But oh so little my love compares
To our Fathers Love above........

To Lisa and Jeff
I had to say good-bye today
to a dream almost come true
I do not know the reason
but my dream belonged to you!
You made my heart so happy
A song you gave my days
This little blessing I felt inside
was soon to go away.....
I know your in a better place
than this cold old world down here
and I know your in His gentle arms
so I have no need to fear
Someday I'll be there with you
what a joyful day we'll see
so for now my dreams are with you love
till that day you'll be with me
Thank you Lord for being there
and the peace I feel today
No greater Love could heal this pain
than yours you've sent our way.
