I am Bro. Joel Lisemby of the Lisemby Family. I want to take this opportunity to thank you for taking this time to read about our ministry. The Lisemby Family have traveled full time since 1973. We've preached all around the world. I want to encourage you to take time and browse the Lisemby website found at the link to the left, to find out more information about the Lisembys.
The Lisemby Family has felt compelled of God to concentrate heavily on international ministries.
As Director of Lisemby Family International Ministries I'm so thankful for what God has done in the past, and I'm excited about the possibilities that God has in store for us in the future.
There are countries, right now, that desperately need the Gospel of Jesus Christ preached. They need food, shelter, and Christian love displayed. The Lisembys feel the call to do whatever it takes to reach the world. It takes financial aid for these things to be a possibility. For just pennies a day, we can put rice and beans in the hands of hungry families, along with a Gospel tract. Many places in Africa are wide open right now for preachers and evangelistic teams to go and preach and present the glorious Gospel of our Lord. In other regions of the world, in some Middle East countries, the opportunity is there to go and minister in places where, just a few years ago, Christians were forbidden by the government to come and share the Word.
I've had the great privilege to speak in schools of the Hope that can only be found in the Person of Jesus. Not long ago, I had prayer with a Lebanese youth from Beirut, Lebanon, who was concerned with the drug culture that had invaded his country.
Recently I stood amazed as an entire classroom accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior, after presenting the Gospel Plan to them in the country of Benin, Africa.
I led a prayer in Washington, D.C. on the steps of our nation's Capitol, with groups of young people, praying that God would bless the youth of America again, and that God would be allowed back in our classrooms across America.
I have had the opportunity to witness to street gangs in London, England. And on the last night of the family crusade there, many of those youth were gloriously saved.
I've been able to witness, after one of my brothers preached a dynamic message of repentance, the Glory of the Lord as young people in Central America gave their hearts to Jesus.
Some years ago, an elderly pastor from Alexandria, Egypt, with tears in his eyes asked if we could come to his country. My heart is there, but our ministry hasn't reached there yet. There are so many places that need to be reached, and we need your help to do it.
We are a family team. Our interest is in Family. From the old patriarch, and matriarch of the home, to the senior citizens, to the young married, to the single, to the youth, and to the children, we've placed our lives on the line for the families of the world to claim them for Jesus.
Again, we need your help. If the Holy Spirit places a love gift on your heart, be obedient. We need regular monthly support. Our pledge to those who give is that every dime and dollar will be spent on world-wide evangelism.
