FACING CHOICES
What to do? What not to do?
Each day confronts us with choices to make. Don`t be discourged if you have made a choice that you know was wrong. God loves you and forgives you and sent Jesus Christ to save you.
Chooses to let Jesus rescue you and set you free from sin
If you belong to Christ Jesus, you won`t be punished. The Holy Spirit will give you life that comes from Christ Jesus and will set you free from sin and death. The law of Moses cannot do this, because our selfish desires make the Law weak. But God set you free when he sent his own Son to be like us sinners and to be a sacrifice for our sin. God used Christ`s body to condemn sin. He did this, so that we would do what the Law commands by obeying the Spirit insted of our own desires. Romans 8:2-4
Chooses to put your faith in Jesus and be Saved
So you will be saved, if you honestly say, "Jesus is Lord," and if you believe with all your heart that God raised him from death. God will accept you and save you, if you truly believe this and tell it to others. Romans 10:9,10
Choose to know and do the will of God in all things
Don`t be like the people of this world, but let God change the way you think. Then you will know how to do everything that is good and pleasing to him. Romans 12:2
Choose to love and serve others
Be sincere in your love for others. Hate everything that is evil and hold tight to everything that is good. Love each other as brothers and sisters and honor others more than you do yourself. Never give up. Eagerly follow the Holy Spirit and serve the Lord. Led your hope make you glad. Be patient in time of trouble and never stop praying. Take care of God`s needy people and welcome strangers into your home. Romans 12:9-13
Choose to pray and give thanks to God
Always be joyful and never stop praying. Whatever happens, keep thanking God because of Jesus Christ. This is what God wants you do do. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
OFFER YOUR OWN PRAYER TO GOD. DO IT NOW!
Lord God, today I choose to put my faith in you. Thank you for sending your Son, Jesus, to rescue me from sin. Help me always to make the right choises.
