Kingdom Builders Ministry was founded in April of 2001. It is the vision of Apostle Terence A. Townsend.
Apostle Townsend served in many denominational ministries as a vital part of their growth and programming. Apostle Townsend met his future wife Jacqueline Townsend while on a business trip in Dallas, TX. They fell in love and married December 1999.
Both Terence & Jacqueline love the Lord and felt a strong leading to serve in the Ministry of the Gospel of Christ. God released Apostle Townsend from the church they were serving in as a Youth Pastor with the instuctions found in these verses of scripture:
1) Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases. 2) And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick. 3) And he said unto them, Take nothing for your journey, neither staves, nor scrip, neither bread, neither money; neither have two coats apiece. 4) And whatsoever house ye enter into, there abide, and thence depart. 5) And whosoever will not receive you, when ye go out of that city, shake off the very dust from your feet for a testimony against them. 6) And they departed, and went through the towns, preaching the gospel, and healing every where." (Luke 9:1-6 KJV)
Through a period of testing and preparation, Apostle Townsend and his Family are persisting to remains focused on the purposes and plans that God has set forth for their lives. "I am not worthy of the work that God has called me too, but I Thank Him for this opportunity to Serve Him in this capacity." -Apostle Townsend.

OUR MISSION IS TO:
1) Glorify God with everything we do.
The most important part of being in ministry is the fact that success only is achieved when The Will Of God is being carried out, not your will. We have struggles as ministers to be like Jesus Christ in that His entire life is was spent Glorifying the Father. While in His time of testing in the wilderness by Satan, Jesus did not waiver in His pursuit to uphold the honor of the Father. Even as He's praying in the Garden before His shew of Passion he chose the the Father's Will over His own. My question then is this, “Why haven't we, as His Body, been more faithful in our pursuit to Honor the Father." There are many answers we can explore, but they all come down to the same answer...We Choose Not Too! Of Course, it comes down to a choice. That’s how God set it up. To Glorify God is a choice that you and I have to make everyday, in every decision we make, in every conversation we partake in. We must be willing to choose this truth found in Matthew 5:16 "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father which is in heaven."
2) To encourage a lost world to receive the Love of God.
We, as Christians, know the Bible tells us that God is Love. How is a lost and dying world supposed to find out? We most show & tell them the hope that can be depended on is found in a relationship with Christ Jesus...Jesus in Us! This aspect of our Christian walk requires more then just a charitable donation. We have been bought with a great price. Literally, our opportunity for salvation was paid for in Blood, Sweat and Tears. We have been set free from the bondage of sin, unshackled from weights of this world and now walk in freedom and liberty with victory!!(John 16:33 & Rom 12:1-2) Serve God through serving others. We all have a part in building the Kingdom of God in this earth.
3) Compelling the Church to examine our greatest dilemma ..."Religion vs. Relationship"
One of our purposes in this ministry, and should be in any ministry, is to let people know the truth. The Bible tells us that we shall know the truth and the truth will not only set us free, but make us free. Since this is true, why are so many of us still captured and captivated by the legalistic rhetoric of religious thinkers? Why are we motivated to sit still in the glutinous belly of a brick and mortar "faux" cathedral that collect your money and spend your time with a promise of 'now we can build us some bigger barns’? How long are we going to remain stationary in our choice pew and watch our leader accept another body into the organization without every inquiring if their soul has been secured in eternity? When someone questions us on our faith, what is your response? "I am a/an (insert religion here)" or "I'm a Christian."
God wants to build a personal thriving relationship with you. He wants you to know Him in an intimate manner. This is why Jesus Christ chose to be obedient, even unto death. Get to know Him for yourself, it's truly worth it. (John 4:22-24)
We need your support in helping us to advance this mission and work of Kingdom Builders Ministry Network worldwide. Our purpose is to aid in the fulfillment of the plans and purposes that God has set in the Hearts of every individual. And, as believers we should should strive to live our lives wholly submitted to the Will Of God. In our desire to serve Him with a whole heart we must continue to reach out to those who will come to know as their Lord & Savior. Being, Fully, the example of Christ here in this earth.

 Most recently, Terence has stepped out on a visionary work. He is the architect of a nationwide ministry organization targeting the “Urban Culture”. Save Our City Crusades & Conferences is the name of the organization to which Terence serves as President. “Save Our City” reaches out to ministry and community leaders across the U.S. with goal oriented ministry curriculum, in-depth leadership training conferences, leadership networking through online community building applications, targeted “urban culture” evangelistic techniques/ideas and by conducting community rallying crusade events across the nation; aimed at empowering youth and adults to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
