ACHIEVEMENTS
We have reached some accomplishments
SOME ACHIEVEMENTS OF HORMI IN SOME COMMUNITIES OF GHANA AND NIGERIA BETWEEN 2005-2007
* Home of Refuge Ministry International in 2007 conducted series of seminar for hundreds of students in Ghana and Nigeria. Again we have been used as instruments to convert hundreds of souls to christ. Through us churches have been planted in areas where there was no christianity and the Lord used us to disciple people and are still discipling. The year 2008 is a real challenging one for us. With God on our side, we are more than conquerors.
* Home of Refuge Ministry International in 2006 conducted leadership training for hundreds of students, conducted Mass Wedding for six couples at Father's Heart Ministry and served as a spiritual Father and resource personnel for church leaders in Ghana and Nigeria.
* Home of Refuge Ministry International in collaboration with Christ Holy Church International (an African Instituted church) built a six classroom block for the people of Avedo – Atsati – a community in the Volta region. The vision for rural community school was initiated by HORMI and assisted by Christ Holy Church International.

* Home of Refuge Ministries International has conducted series of seminars for children, youths and adults in three (3) communities on child abuse, family, church and home management.
* Source of Light Mission materials for Biblical studies, correspondence courses and church planting have been distributed through first and second cycle schools in the Akatsi district of Ghana. The aim of HORMI is to educate the children and youths in those communities whose parents are idol worshippers about the need to give their lives to Jesus Christ and provide education both Christian and secular.

* We assisted less privilege women to seek proper medical care. For example, our mission assisted a mother of four children from a community who suffered from a massive exophytic tumour of palateandmaxilla. We sent this woman’s case into the National Daily Newspaper and the public donated which enabled her to undergo a very successful surgical operation at Korle – Bu Teaching hospital. Dr. Grace E. Anyele Parkins, (BDS, FDS, RCPS) Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, lecturer U.G.M.S. and her team worked on this sick woman.
