With this, I welcome you to the website of
"HOME OF REFUGE MINISTRY INTERNATIONAL"
It has always been my prayer to establish a family based non–denominational ministry where individuals, churches and ministries can be a part. My goal is to use this ministry to support members in prayer, sharing the Word of God and also meeting both physical and spiritual needs. One of the medium we can easily have more contacts with individuals, churches and ministries, is through the Internet; hence, having a website.
God answered my prayer and you are now in fellowship with those who desire to walk with God and live for Him alone. Jesus said, "My mother and brothers are those who hear God’s Word and put it into practice." Luke 8:21 NIV
If you aim at pleasing God by holding unto His Word, then you are welcome!
My only advise for you is that no matter your present condition ONLY BELIEVE! FOR ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE WITH GOD.

Presenting Christ
HORMI was initiated in 1996 as a non- profit missionary team under the former name Christ Ambassadors Movement. Home of Refuge Ministries International (a.k.a. Send Me) is made up of Christians from different denominations whose aim are to Preach Christ in the rural areas and assist communities in town developments projects to improve upon their living standards.
For the past ten years, the Ministry has worked tirelessly in the Avenor- Avedo, Akatsi , Jasikan and Ashaiman districts of Ghana both in the Volta and Greater Accra regions respectively.

VISION STATEMENT: To work with God in maximizing the potentials He has given us for preparing and equipping the body of Christ on works of service through the means of studying, preaching and living God’s revealed truth for the hour.
We will identify and conduct training sessions for church leaders and workers, which will lead them to discover or improve upon these gifts – Evangelism (Eph. 4:11) – Prophecy (Rom. 12:6) – Teaching (Rom. 12:7) – Exhortation (Rom. 12:8) – Shepherding (Eph. 4:11) – Mercy (Rom. 12:8 ) – Ministry (Rom. 12:7; I Cor. 12:28) – Giving (Rom.12:8) - Administration (Rom. 12:8; I Cor. 12:28).
We will conduct church revivals and prayer sessions, write and publish Christian Education books, journals and related subjects for children, youths and adults. We will demonstrate God’s love, creativity and power by caring for people and support for the poor and needy as directed by the Holy Spirit in the same ways our Fathers in the Bible did it.
MISSION STATEMENT:Prepare God’s people for works of Service until we reach the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.

EXECUTIVE:There is an executive council of seven dedicated men and women, (4 men and 3 women) whose main goal is to see that this work of the Lord is successful.
FINANCE: We are truly a Faith Ministry and we rely on voluntary contributions to do our work.
MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENT: Membership is free. However,a person will be considered for membership into Home of Refuge Ministries International (HORMI) who meets the following requirements.
* Must know Jesus Christ as Saviour
* Must belong to a Bible Believing church
* Must have the heart for missionary work
* Must agree with the doctrinal statement of HORMI
