The Books of Law are the first five books of the Bible written by Moses. They are:

(1.)GENESIS: discusses The Creation of heaven, earth and Man. The Fall of Man, Cain and Abel, The Great Flood, God makes a covenant with Abraham, Birth of Isaac-the child of promise, Birth of Jacob and Esau, Birth of the twelve tribes of Israel, Joseph, Drought in Egypt and the preservation of the twelve tribes of Isreal through Joseph, Death of Jacob.

(2.)EXODUS: discusses the birth of Moses, Call of Moses by God to deliver Isreal from bondage, Covenant renewed with Moses by God, the Ten Plagues of Egypt, Passover initiated, Crossing of the Red Sea, Ten Commandments and Covenant laws, The tabernacle is built, Priesthood established, The Sabbath, The Laws of Offerings and Burnt Offerings.

(3.)LEVITICUS: discusses The Laws of Meat Offerings, Peace offerings, Sin offerings,Trepass offerings, Laws of Sins done wittingly, Laws of various offerings, Priestly installation, Aaron's first offerings as a Priest and the burning of his son's Nadab and Abihu, Clean and Unclean Meats, Purification of Women, Signs and Treatment of Leprosy, Laws of Cleansing Lepers, Unlawful Marriages and Lusts, Laws of Sexual Conduct, Laws of the Priesthood, Laws of Priest and Offerings, Concerns of the Feasts of the Lord, Seventh year Sabbath, Idolatry, Vows and their redemption and Numbering.

(4.)NUMBERS: discusses the Numbering, Captains of the tribe, the Levitical families, The Moving of the tabernacle, Cleansing the camps, Law of the Nazarites, Offerings at altar's dedication, Lighting of the lamps, Concerns of the Passover, The Seventy Elders, The sending out of the Spies to search the land of Canaan, Rebellion of Korah, The Levitical charge, The Water of Separation,Law of Inheritance, Solemn Feasts and their Offerings, Levitical Cities and The Law of Female Inheritance.

(5.)DEUTERONOMY: discusses The Speech of Moses in Moab, Moses' Exhortation, Covenant in Horeb, Exhortation to Obedience, God is a Jealous God, Holy people unto the Lord, Restoration of the Tables, Laws and Judgements, Idolaters to be put to Death, Seventh Year of Release, Priestly Inheritance, Concerning Cities of Refuge, Rules of War, Laws and Ordinances, Offerings of First Fruit, Blessings of Obedience, Promises of Mercies, Song of Moses and Moses on Mount Nebo.

These first five books are called the "Torah" in Hebrew meaning "law". In Greek, the first five books are called the "Pentateuch" meaning "five-fold vessel". The Greek word "Pentateuch" is preferrably used in today's modern study of the books of law.

Most of the geography of the Pentateuch takes place from the land of Ur to Canaan, Canaan to Egypt and Egypt to Canaan.

The "Synoptic Gospels" are:

These three books of the New Testament are referred to as the Synoptic Gospels because of the similarities of their descriptions of the Life of Christ. The book of John is not included in this category because:

The Apostle Paul wrote fourteen epistles in the New Testament which are called the "PAULINE" epistles. They are:

(7.) Colossians
(8.) 1 Thessalonians

The book of Hebrews is believed to have been written by the Apostle Paul but there is a belief that the book could have been written by co-workers of Paul or other authors.

There are seven books of the New Testament which were not written by the Apostle Paul. They are called the "NON-PAULINE" epistles. They are:

(3.) 2 Peter
(4.) 1 John
(5.) 2 John
(6.) 3 John
(7.) Jude

The last book of the New Testament is the book of REVELATION which was writtten by the beloved disciple, John. The theme of this book:

(1.) Manifestation of Jesus Christ

(2.) Revealing of christian instruction.

The book of Revelation is filled with symbolism and is referred to as the book of Apocalypse. The Greek word is apokalypsis -- which means the unveiling or uncovering of something previously hidden.

REVELATION -- discusses Christ speaks to the seven churches in Asia, Christ at the door, The Four beasts, Worthy is the Lambs, The Opening of the seals in order, Sealing of the Servants of God, Opening of the Seventh Seal, The Strong angel and the book, The two witnesses prophesy, The Great Red Dragon, The Number of the Beast, The Lamb and his Company, Christ comes as a Thief, Victory of the Lamb, Babylon is fallen, Marriage of the lamb, Satan bound for a thousand years, A New Heaven and Earth, River and Tree of Life.
