WHAT ARE FIBERS OF GRACE? Using Fiber as her Art tool Grace hand spins fibers into fine yarns. She also creates hand made Spindles to use to spin fiber into yarn. Whether her art is made from silk, wood, wool or paper, the majority of art items that Grace creates is made of some sort of a fiber, hence the name! She depends on God's Grace to help her in her weakness to create art and artisan craft items. Being ill she leans on God's Strength.
WHAT DOES HALAL MEAN?
HALAL is a Hebrew word pronounced (haw-lal') meaning "EXUBERANT PRAISE". It is also rendered as " to shine; to celebrate; to glory, to give (light),( to sing, be worthy of) praise, renowned, shine, praising(God).
This same word HALAL translated as "praise" according to Hebrew thought, conveys "look toward another as a shining light." When the Psalms say, Praise Yah (halelu-Yah) (Psalm 135:3) it is literally saying "Look to Yah as the light that will guide you on your journey." Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. Psalm 119:105 We know Jesus, Yeshua in Hebrew is the " LIGHT OF THE WORLD." Therefore It is my goal for my art to be filled with LIGHT.
