My motto is: Do all I can (for the Lord) while I can, because there may come a time I will want to do, and can't.

During the last 40 years, I served the Church of God locally and in the state. I have also served the Gideons International, a Service Mission Director, Hospital Chaplain, and in other various organazations with my electronics technology career. I am presently retired and serving as the Associate Pastor at the First Church of God in Richmond, VA. My second career in full-time Pastoral Ministry began in 1991 while winding down on a 30-year career in Commercial Television Broadcasting.

Specifically, I have pastored in Richmond, Fredericksburg, Rich Creek, and Maxwell, all in Virginia.  I have served the Church of God in Virginia as President of the MCG for seven years, the Executive Council, Church Property Foundation, and Business Committee for several years.  I have also served as the Secretary for the Virginia Ministeral Fellowship of the Church of God.  Now I'm ready to serve you, if I can...

Personally, I am an Amateur Radio Operator and I enjoy playing the Old Time Appalachian Music of America; especially the Celtic (traditional and folk music of England, Scotland, Ireland, and Wales) music.  My instrument of choice is the Violin among the stringed instruments, and secondly, the Penny Whistle.

Logo Anderson, IN.

Wikepedia, in part, says, "The Church of God (Anderson) is a non-denominational, Holiness movement believing group of Christians with roots in Wesleyan pietism and also in the restorationist and anabaptist traditions.

One of its more distinctive features is that there is no formal membership, since the movement believes that true biblical salvation, which will result in a life free from sin, makes one a member. Similarly, there is no formal creed other than the Bible. Accordingly, there is much official room for diversity and theological dialog, even though the movement's culture is strongly rooted in Wesleyan holiness theology."
