Father God in Heaven,
We are so thankful that you are The One True God and you are in control!!! We are thankful Father God to have a new day to be a willing vessel for you!!! We give you ALL praise, ALL glory, ALL honor, ALL reverence Father God, in the name of Jesus! Thank you for a new day that you have made as we will rejoice and be exceedingly glad in it!! Thank you Father God for blessing us in a mighty way, blessing us to overflowing as only you can do!! Father God, in the name of Jesus, DECREASE US and INCREASE YOUR HOLY SPIRIT in us this day. In the name of Jesus, your Holy Word tells us in Proverbs 22:1-12 (NLT), 1 Choose a good reputation over great riches; being held in high esteem is better than silver or gold. 2 The rich and poor have this in common: The Lord made them both. 3 A prudent person foresees danger and takes precautions. The simpleton goes blindly on and suffers the consequences. 4 True humility and fear of the Lord lead to riches, honor, and long life. 5 Corrupt people walk a thorny, treacherous road; whoever values life will avoid it. 6 Direct your children onto the right path, and when they are older, they will not leave it. 7 Just as the rich rule the poor, so the borrower is servant to the lender. 8 Those who plant injustice will harvest disaster, and their reign of terror will come to an end. 9 Blessed are those who are generous, because they feed the poor. 10 Throw out the mocker, and fighting goes, too. Quarrels and insults will disappear. 11 Whoever loves a pure heart and gracious speech will have the king as a friend. 12 The Lord preserves those with knowledge, but he ruins the plans of the treacherous.
Father God in Heaven, in the name of Jesus, make your love the foundation of our lives and may our love for you express itself in eagerness to do good for others. Father God, through Christ Jesus, by His example, give us courage and by His teachings Father God, make us wise, so that we, like Him, may burn with love for your Divine Holy Word. Father God, as we begin our day today, let us do so with the awareness that without your divine presence here at the center of our day, and also within ourselves, our day will be empty. Oh Father God, in the name of Jesus, grace us with your wisdom and vision; gift us with humor and humility so that not only in this moment, this day, but all our lives; may our hearts, our persons, be a meeting place for your Kingdom. Father God, in all we do for you, let us show the joy of doing it: in all we have, own, possess, let us show a righteous stewardship and poverty of ownership over it; in the name of Jesus, in our learning and growing in your wisdom Father God, through your Holy Word, help us to invite others to share in it and in the bearing of good fruit in this dying world. Father God, let us give you the glory and the honor and the reverence as all we do for you, draws us nearer to you.
Father God, we come to you this day with ready hands, knowing great is the wisdom of you! Father God, your wisdom includes an understanding of what is fair, what is logical, what is true, what is right and what is lasting. Father God, this morning, this day, this very moment, we ask earnestly that you to grant us such wisdom that only comes from you, that our work and example of life may reflect your insight. Father God, in the name of Jesus, we pray that you put the wisdom of your light and truth in us! We pray Father God that your truth will be a lamp for our feet and we will not stumble, for the world is in darkness! Father God, rain your light and truth down upon us so that we will turn to the way that is right! Give us your wisdom Father God, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, and help us act upon what your indwelling Holy Spirit speaks to us.
Thank you Father God, in the name of Jesus, for being a patient God, a loving God, Almighty God, God Our Protector, Merciful God, God Of Grace, the One True God!! Father God, bless us and keep us and all we are in contact with today; shine your holy light upon us and be gracious to us as we do the same for others through your Holy Spirit; turn your face toward us and give us peace as we demonstrate the mighty virtues of Christ Jesus to others. For all we are, for all we do, for all that you have made us Father God, it is in the righteous, powerful, loving name of Jesus we pray, believing it to receive it. Amen.
