Our church was established on Feb 4, 2001. Our first service and communion was held at the Church of Shadow Rock where we were renting space from February 2001 to January 2006. At that time we had less than 60 people in attendance. Now our membership has grown to about 100 people. It took many months of prayer, listening to the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and preparation to find a place of our own. Through the Grace of God we were able to purchase a property of our own on November 28, 2005. The property is almost 2 acres with a Sanctuary and Hall. Our church was dedicated on February 3rd, 2006 and is open to all. The purpose of our church is to teach the Word of God and to nurture the spiritual lives of the Samoan people. Having a Samoan church gives us a chance to worship and fellowship in our own language. This also gives our children the opportunity to learn & explore our customs and traditions. | Bookmark
