The Romans Road
HOW DO I FIND THE ROAD TO HEAVEN?
Have you ever been unsure of which road to take? We sometimes waste time and energy because we take the wrong road. The greatest tragedy in life would be to fail to get to heaven because you chose the wrong road.
Jesus spoke of a wide road and a narrow road (Matthew 7:13-14).
The wide road leads to destruction in hell, and many people are on that road. On the other hand, only a few people are traveling the narrow road that leads to heaven and eternal life.
Jesus said that each person must choose the road he or she will take. We must choose because "all have sinned and come short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23).
Because we have sinned, everybody starts out on the wide road to destruction. Eternal death in hell awaits all who remain on this road, for the Bible also says, "The wages of sin is death" (Romans 6:23).
Because He loves us, God made a way for us to get to the narrow road to heaven. "But God commendeth His love toward us in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8). Jesus said, "I am the way" (John 14:6). JESUS IS THE WAY TO HEAVEN.
You have a choice to make - take the wide road to destruction or the narrow road to salvation and eternal life in heaven. The Bible is a type of road map that tells us how to take the narrow road: "If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved......'For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved'" (Romans 10:9,13).
Will you believe in Jesus now? If so, tell God in prayer that you know you are a sinner, that you repent of your sin, and that you accept Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior. Thank Him for saving you and confess Him as Lord. Please do it now. It is your only way to heaven!
JESUS IS THE ONLY WAY TO GET TO HEAVEN.
ACCEPT HIM TODAY AND BE ASSURED OF A PLACE IN HEAVEN.
HE WILL SAVE YOU. TRUST HIM TODAY.
MANY WILL SAY, I WILL DO IT LATER...
BUT YOU HAVE NO PROMISE OF THE NEXT DAY...
OR EVEN THE NEXT MINUTE.
YOU MAY NEVER HAVE ANOTHER CHANCE TO MAKE THE MOST IMPORTANT DECISION OF YOUR LIFE. THIS COULD BE THE LAST CHANCE YOU HAVE AND CAN BE THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SPENDING ETERNITY [which is a long, long, long, long time] IN THE BURNING FIRES OF HELL [folks it is a real place...remember Lazarus and the rich man]...OR SPENDING IT IN GLORY WITH CHRIST. PLEASE DO NOT PUT OFF THIS MOST IMPORTANT DECISION FOR ANOTHER MINUTE. YOU HAVE NO ASSURANCE OF THE NEXT MINUTE!! ACCEPT JESUS CHRIST AS YOUR PERSONAL SAVIOR AND ENJOY ETERNAL LIFE WITH CHRIST IN HEAVEN.
