For those who usually catch the radio program at 7:00 a.m. each Sunday, you probably noticed that it was not on this past Sunday. Well, the line that goes from the station to the transmitter that is supplied by the phone company stopped working somewhere along the way. We could have transmitted over the internet, as that was still working. We really do not know how many people do listen to us over the internet. This is an opportunity for you to let us know if you listen on the radio or on the Internet. If you could let us know, please either email us or leave a comment that you do listen, and how you listen to us. That would help us with letting the station know the valuable service that they are providing. Thank you in advance.
For those trying to get the radio program online, try http://ware.d2gwebsite.com:8000 as this is a direct link. Use this if the website is down for any reason. There is more information under the Media Links site - navigate using the link at the left menu area. Under the radio ministry, it explains how to listen using the alternate link. Thanks. Barry
IMPORTANT INFORMATION about our radio program...
For those of you who might have tried to listen to the radio broadcast on www.realoldies1250.com Sunday morning, you probably were not able to get to the web site. I found out why it was a forbidden web site. The address has been changed...it is now www.realoldies1250.net. A real shortcut if you have winamp or jetaudio installed is http://ware.d2gwebsite.com:8000 and when it asks what program to use to open it, just pick winamp or jet audio.
realoldies1250 Melodies of Faith 7:05 a.m. each Sunday You will have to hit the listen button and then save it as listen.pls and open it. Another way is to go to the web site using this address www.realoldies1250.net in Internet Explorer and use the player about 1/4 of the way down the page on the right. The player only shows up using Internet Explorer, not under Firefox.
