Camps
Proverbs 22:6
Many of you are probably familiar with this Proverb sayings, "Train a child in the way he should go and when he is old he
will not depart from it.Then, there's the more obvious interpretation. Train a child to love and follow the Lord and when
he is old he will not depart from the Lord and those teachings. My question (dare I say "problem!") with this verse is that
I have seen this not pan out. Haven't you known individuals who were raised and trained by godly parents not return to
the Lord? This is not to say that we shouldn't train and discipline our children to love and serve the Lord with their whole
heart...of course we should! And I think we should believe and hope in the Lord that those children will not depart from
the Lord. But, still, like so many things in life, it doesn't always work out. (insert debbie downer, "wa, wa!")"These camps
are organized during vacation period in the moths of April, August andDecember and go for at least one week which is
ideally adequate faith building week meant for putting and drilling Christian ethics into the children's hearts and minds.
Apart from only bible studies the participants will have time to play games like
Swimming, Horse riding, Table tennis, darts etc and at the end of the week they will
have a vocational tour to either a game reserve or a national park.
