HOMEPAGE
![]() Loving - Compassionate - Restoring - Equipping - Growing Lloyd Street, Llandudno, LL30 2YA We are recommitting ourselves this New Year to GOD and each other. This is what we promise, with GOD's help to do. During the commitment meal on January 3rd we made the following declaration together. LOVE 1) We commit to being a people who love one another, with the help of the Holy Spirit, throughout this coming year: to please our neighbour, for his good; to build him up; forgiving offences, just as Christ has forgiven us. We will learn to be Christ’s family in a deeper way. COMPASSION 2) In response to the call of Jesus to help with the harvest, We will reach out with compassion to whoever does not know Jesus, being His ambassadors in any situation we find ourselves. We will come to God to receive His heart for those who do not yet know Christ; being “salt and light”, showing those around us what Christ is like. EQUIPPING 3) We commit to using the gifts that God has given us, asking the Holy Spirit to help us discover our gifts and empower us to use them, not in competition with one another, but in partnership for the Gospel, playing our part together in God’s Kingdom. RESTORATION 4) We commit to let ourselves be changed by God, to become more like Jesus; through giving the Holy Spirit access to every area of our lives; through being exposed to God’s Word; learning from others’ example; being willing to let others hold us to account and confessing our sins to God and each other. GROWTH 5) We commit to making Christlikeness the goal of our lives. We are willing to be challenged to keep our relationship with God the number one priority. We commit to make our church’s life together an opportunity for spiritual growth, and to try and get rid of whatever might hinder this. The Caleb Prayer Please continue to use these words in your daily prayer time: O High King of Heaven, Have mercy on our land. Revive Your Church; Send the Holy Spirit for the sake of the children. May Your Kingdom come to our nation, In Jesus’ mighty Name. Amen Will You Commit to Pray? The Uganda 2009 team would like to arrange a Prayer Sponsor for every child at the orphanage where they worked. Would you sponsor one of the children in prayer? There is a photo card for each child, with their name. If you would like both the challenge and privilege of bringing a young child before the LORD by name on a regular basis, speak to Chris Spree for a photo card. Supporting Dalit Education Several people have already promised to support this initiative. There is still time to join, as we begin transferring the money next month. NEWS FROM OUR PEOPLE IN UGANDA WE are home!!!!!!!! Watch this space for more info! WHAT WE BELIEVE 1) In the Bible as the inspired word of God, the all-sufficent rule of faith and conduct. 2) In the unity of the One True and Livlng GOD revealed in three person: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. 3) In the virgin birth, sinless life, miraculous ministry, substitutionary atoning death, bodily resurrection, triumphant ascension, abiding intercession, and second comming. 4) In the fall of man and consequent need of salvation though faith in Jesus Christ. 5)In baptism of believers by immersion in water. 6) In the baptism and gifts of the Holy Spirit. 7) In the everlasting conscious bliss of believers and the conscious punishment of all whose names are not written in the book of life.
