At last years 2006 Virtuous Women's Retreat Evelyn spoke on Christian romance. A topic , that not many people feel comfortable speaking on. So I was so grateful to have found her. She gave us some very practical ways to help keep the romance alive in our marriages, which we all need to be reminded of especially if you are no longer newlyweds because we can tend to get comfortable and lax in making things stay special. She did a wonderful job speaking on a topic many shy away from. I definitely recommend her.

"Our ministry gives conferences twice a year and I am cautious about the types of speakers we invite to speak at our conferences. Our speakers are first invited to be considered via email then they are interviewed via telephone by me. I look for in speakers who are real, who wrestle with life's challenges and work to grow in the Lord.
After our first phone converstaion I could hardly wait to see Evelyn face to face. I invited Evelyn to speak at our 2005 Women's Conference in Kansas City Missouri. We had a hallelujah good time just over the phone. And let me tell you it was even better when she arrived. Our women felt they could identify with her and even more importantly they felt that they could identify with God.
