Burslem Elim Pentecostal Church (formerly the Christian Pentecostal Fellowship) was started by a group of people from the Elim Church, in Hanley, Stoke on Trent, UK, over 15 years ago. The first venue was a Community Centre, and during our journey we have used 'borrowed' facilities in a Residents' Association Hall and two different churches. In December 2006 a Church Partnership with the Burslem United Reform Church began. The URC church hall had experienced a fire and the members wanted someone to partner with them to make full use of facilities if rebuilding was undertaken. We have been happy to supply that partnership and the renovations are now completed. (See 'News' page) This will enable more community based projects to be set up and provide better facilities for the church, youth and children's work.
The Church is affilated to the Elim Foursquare Gospel Alliance and our Pastor, Peter Hulme, is an accredited Minister. You can read about this on the 'History of Elim' page.
