FOUNDATIONAL STATEMENT
ECHO Christian Academy was founded with the goal of Christian home educators and Christian students coming together in an academic, hands-on environment to learn and grow. We envision a group that grows with the needs to the child, from the young hands-on learner to the college-prep high school student. The founding belief system of this group is evangelical Christianity. As a group, we have always chosen to stand on that which unites us instead of that which could divide us.
WELCOME STATEMENT
ECHO Christian Academy welcomes those of all Christian faiths who acknowledge our foundational statement and agree to the Statement of Faith outlined below.
STATEMENT OF FAITH
We believe the only true basis of Christian fellowship is Christ’s (Agape) love, which is greater than any differences we possess, and without which we have no right to claim ourselves Christians. John 13:34-35
We believe in one God, the Creator of all things, who reveals himself as God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Gen 1:1, Col 1:16-17, John 1:3, John 16:13 I Cor 8:6 Gen 1:26
We believe in the inerrancy of Scripture, that the Bible, Old and New Testaments is the inspired, infallible Word of God. Ps 19:7-8 , 2Tim 3:16, 1Thess 2:13
We believe in Jesus Christ, who is fully God and fully man at the same time, who became like us to bring about our salvation. John 1:1-4, 14
We believe that Jesus Christ was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, provided for the atonement of our sins by His substitutionary death on the Cross, was bodily resurrected by the power of the Holy Spirit, ascended back to the right hand of God the Father, and ever lives to make intercession for us. We believe that each person must repent, turn away from his sins, and accept Christ as Lord and Savior.

We believe that the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to convict men, indwell, guide, instruct and empower the believer for godly living and service. John 16: 7-8, 1 Cor 6:19, 1 Cor 12:7 John 16: 7-8
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers through our common faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and that individual doctrinal differences which may exist aside from these foundational beliefs should not hinder the unity of Christian home educators. I John 3:18, 23
