ECHO CHRISTIAN ACADEMY - (Educating our Children for His Objectives) Come join us and see what the excitement is all about. We are now taking enrollments for the 2008-2009 school year. We are a K-12 Christian based group meeting on Tuesdays fo for approximately 30 weeks on Tuesdays at Camp atOld Mill near Downingtown (off route 322/route 82). Our focus is to provide a place for the whole family to fellowship and learn.
Upper grades (7th - 12th) - We are a college prep. oriented co-op. We will be offering the core subjects of History, English, Science & Math in both the Jr. high and Sr. high programs. Although we track to the PHAA diploma program, families may choose which diploma program (if any) they would like to use. We will be offering: Pre-Algebra through Pre-Calculus, General Science, Biology and Chemistry, 18th - 19th Century American History, English/Literature. Electives have not yet been determined. Preference is given to students enrolling full-time in these subjects and then we will take students that wish to enroll for one or more courses. We welcome and accept drop-off students. Classes are limited to 15 students.
Annual Tuition: $275/child; plus minimal class costs as well as service hours.
Annual Drop-off Tuition: $275/one class, $400/two classes, $550/3 or more classes plus minimal class costs with no service hours requirement.
Elementary (K - 6th) - In the elementary program we offer academically enriching classes including History, Science, Critical Thinking/Math Skills, and Writing/Literature. In addition to these core subjects, other classes will be added if there is interest, e.g. Music, Art, Drama, etc. There is a pre-K time and baby/toddler group for moms with children in the core K - 5/6 grade program but who have young children as well. Moms stay for the day and help out. Annual Tuition: $275/child plus service hours and minimal curriculum costs.

2008 - 2009 Classes - The following classes will be offered on Tuesdays (actual times TBD) at the Camp at Old Mill (Rte. 322 & Rte. 82). Only need 1 class? That works, or perhaps you'd like your student to take 2 or 3 classes.

Math : Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, II, Geometry and Pre-Calculus. Science: Biology , Chemistry , General Science , 18th - 19th Century American History with a unit study on the Electoral Process beginning the year (both Jr. & Sr. High), Jr. High English/Literature, Sr. High English/Literature.
