They play a smooth traditional style of bluegrass with fresh and creative arrangements. Their music has been influenced by many legends such as the late Bill Monroe, Flatt and Scruggs, Ralph Stanley and others.

Salinity is a Christian rock/alternative band. Coming from a broken past, their music is meant to inspire and uplift the weary and the oppressed. God has brought them out of the desert and into a life of freedom and purpose. Life is a journey with so many sufferings and so much brokenness.
Salinity wants to let people know and to believe that there is a God in the midst of our struggles who is there watching over us and longing to show us a father's love if we will just let him. "Salinity" - The state or degree of being salt, or saline. - (Matthew 5:13)
