John 3:16-17

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

There is only one way to Heaven, and that is through Jesus.
He is The Way, The Truth, and The Life!!

Sit back and let God be the pilot in the journey of your life.  But don't close your eyes, don't sleep through it.  Keep your eyes open and see all the wondrous and beautiful scenery along the way.   Now, on the other hand, if you take the wheel and put God in the back seat, the scenery probably won't be so pretty because you'll wind up going the wrong way!!

In Genesis 32 it tells about Jacob wrestling all night with a Man (Jesus).
Jacob will not let go until he gets a blessing from God. We shouldn't let go either! Stay connected...grab hold of God and don't let go! Let go of the worldly things that have nothing in store for you. This world is just a fleeting thing. Our lives are just a vapor. God and His love are eternal. Put your hope in Him !!!!

God formed Adam from the dust of the ground.   He picked up a handful of dirt and created a man!  Do you see the symbolism?  God brought man out of the dirt and mud, and transformed him into a new creature.  That is what He does for us when we are saved and give our lives to Him.   He brings us out of the dirt !!   Why are so many people trying to crawl back into it?  Stay out of the dirt and filth of this world.  Be the new creature whom God has made!

When you're crying yourself to sleep, know that Jesus is lending His shoulder to you. Let Him love and comfort you!
When you're pushed to the ground, know that Jesus is holding out His hands to you. Grab and don't let go!
When you feel like dying, know that Jesus died to let you live. Accept His gift of life!
When you feel like no one loves you, know that Jesus loves you more than you can imagine. Give Him love and praise in return!

Suppose you were deathly sick and the only cure was a very rare and costly medicine. Yet you had no money. Your doctor leaves and is gone for several days. When he comes back, there are dark circles under his eyes, his hands are trembling, and his clothing is torn and blood-stained. The doctor holds out a vial of the medicine. “I went to secure this medicine for you. I withdrew my life savings. In my hurry, I wrecked my automobile. The blood on my shirt is that of my only son who was with me and was killed in the accident. Here is the cure. Take it, and you’ll live.” Suppose you took that medicine, dashed it on the floor, and said, “Doctor, if I die, it will be your fault.” This is exactly what God has done for mankind. God offered His Son so that no one has to be lost. But we must accept His gift. Have you accepted it?

~ “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” - 2 Peter 3:9~

Romans 8:35-39

35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

When I say "Amen", I'm not saying it is "the end". I'm saying I believe that the Bible is The Truth. I'm saying I'm confident God hears my prayers. I'm saying that I know without a shadow of a doubt that God will answer in His way and in His time. It is said with absolute certainty that God is my Father and Jesus Christ is my Savior.

Matthew 6:9-13

  9 After this manner therefore pray ye:
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever.

Isaiah 40:31:

But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Isaiah 61:10-11:

10 I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.
11 For as the earth bringeth forth her bud, and as the garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.

Psalm 23

1 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

1 Corinthians 13

1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.
4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
8 Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.
10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.
11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

Ephesians 6:10-24

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,
20 For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
21 But that ye also may know my affairs, and how I do, Tychicus, a beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord, shall make known to you all things:
22 Whom I have sent unto you for the same purpose, that ye might know our affairs, and that he might comfort your hearts.
23 Peace be to the brethren, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
24Grace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen.

I have a question for you.
Would you give your life for someone?  I would for my loved ones, and I know all of you probably would do the same.
But..I'm talking about a stranger.
Would you give your life for a stranger...or maybe an acquaintance.  A neighbor that isn't very nice to that talks bad about you or to you, one that gossips about you.   A person that walks up to you on the street and spits in your face.  Would you die for them?  It would be hard, huh.
Or how about a murderer, or a rapist, or someone that abuses a child.  I'll be honest with you.  I don't think I could ever bring my self to die for someone like that.
 ok, now another question.
Would you give your child to die for any of those people mentioned above?   I couldn't...I wouldn't.
Now, think about this.
JESUS gave His life for all those people.  HE gave His life for me!  HE gave His life for you!  HE went to the cross for all of us so we might have life and have it more abundantly.
GOD gave His only SON for all those people....for me...for you.
Some people have said to me 'I didn't ask Jesus to die for me' or "I didn't ask God to give his son for me'.  But you see, that's the thing...They didn't do it because you ask.   They did it because they love you....they love me.   That is huge!!  They love me!!  How can I ever repay them.  I owe them so much!!  And so do you.
Let us praise them.  Give GOD the glory.  Give Him your life.  Give JESUS your love.

(sung by Michael Combs)

I've never made a fortune
and it's probably too late now
But I don't worry about that much
I'm happy anyhow
And as I go along life's journey
I'm reaping better than I sow
I'm drinking from my saucer
'Cause my cup has overflowed

Haven't got a lot of riches
and sometimes the going's tough
But I've got loving ones around me
and that makes me rich enough
I thank God for His blessings
and the mercies He's bestowed
I'm drinking from my saucer
'Cause my cup has overflowed

O, Remember times when things
went wrong
My faith wore somewhat thin
But all at once the dark clouds broke
and sun peeped through again
So Lord, help me not to gripe
about the tough rows that I've hoed
I'm drinking from my saucer
'Cause my cup has overflowed

If God gives me strength and courage
When the way grows steep and rough
I'll not ask for other blessings
I'm already blessed enough
And may I never be too busy
to help others bear their loads
Then I'll keep drinking from my saucer
'Cause my cup has overflowed!'

The path of righteousness is a narrow, winding trail up a steep hill. At the top of the hill is a cross. At the base of the cross are bags. Countless bags full of innumerable sins. Calvary is the compost of guilt. Would you like to leave yours there as well?
For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive in the Spirit.
-- 1 Peter 3:18 (New International Version)

JESUS died for you and me !!!

For my sweet Momma
John 14: 1-3
1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

Proverbs 31:10-31
10 Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.
11 The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.
12 She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.
13 She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands.
14 She is like the merchants' ships; she bringeth her food from afar.
15 She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens.
16 She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard.
17 She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms.
18 She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night.
19 She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff.
20 She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy.
21 She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet.
22 She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple.
23 Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land.
24 She maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant.
25 Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.
26 She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.
27 She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.
28 Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.
29 Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.
30 Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.
31 Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.

What happened to that Preacher, Who used to Preach so strong.
What happened to that singer, Who used to sing our song.
The Preacher's out selling Amway, That singer's now singing country.
They sold out what is right for what is wrong.

What happened to the church, That used to be on fire.
What happened to the voices, That sang in the heavenly choir.
Oh, The Church has now grown dead and cold,
The choir is silent, Cause nobody goes.
They sold out to the world and their own desires (Listen To Me)

This heart belongs to Jesus, Cause he saved my soul from Hell.
This heart belongs to Jesus, This heart is not for sale.
Not for sale, Not for sale, No way no sir.

Well a man from California, Called a few months ago.
He said boy with your talent , We can make a lot of dough.
I said thanks for the offer it all sounds swell.
But I belong to Jesus, And I'm just not for sale.
Not for sale, I'm not for sale, No way no sir.

Well, If you're living for Jesus, Friend, They'll come a day.
That old Devil's gonna try to get you some way.
He'll try you, And tempt you, with his lies straight from hell.
Just say I belong to Jesus, And Devil I'm not for sale
Not for sale, Not for sale, No way no sir.

I belong to the Lamb Of God,
He purchased me with his precious Blood,
I don't need popularity, I'd rather have what he gave to me.
I belong to the King of Kings,
He's my hope, He's my joy, He's my everything.
I belong to the Lord God Almighty,
I belong to the one who gave his life for me.

I belong to the Lamb Of God,
He purchased me with his precious Blood,
I don't need popularity, I'd rather have what he gave to me.
Some sold conviction's for compromise,
Some have sold the truth for a pack of lies.
Some have sold Testimonies for fortune and fame.
I just want to Glorify and Magnify his name.

This heart belongs to Jesus, He saved my soul from Hell.
This heart belongs to Jesus, Oh this heart is not for sale.
Not for sale, Not for sale, No way no sir.
Not for sale, I'm Not for sale,
I'm not for sale, No way no sir, I'm Not for sale.

When you see someone in a uniform,
Someone who serves us all,
Doing military duty,
Answering their country’s call,

Take a moment to thank them
For protecting what you hold dear;
Tell them you are proud of them;
Make it very clear.

Just tap them on the shoulder,
Give a smile, and say,
"Thanks for what you’re doing
To keep us safe in the USA!"

If someone has done military service,
They earn the title "veteran," and more;
They earn our deep respect and admiration;
That they are special no one can ignore.
They sacrificed the comforts we enjoy;
The list is long of all the things they gave.
Our veterans are extraordinary people;
They’re loyal, dedicated, true and brave.
When terror and invasion were real threats,
They showed us they could handle any storm.
We owe our freedoms and our very lives
To our veterans, who served in uniform.
Our veterans should be celebrities;
They’re exceptional; no other group compares.
We’re grateful for the many things they’ve done;
They’re always in our hearts and in our prayers.
We owe our veterans support and friendship;
Let no one ever question what they’re worth.
These men and women served us and our country,
Our veterans--the very best on earth.
By Joanna Fuchs

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
- 2 Chronicles 7:14
Such a little word....that word "if". It takes up so little space but it means so much.
In this case, "if" promises us something....
It's a word that may bring forgiveness, or it may not.
It's a word that may bring healing, or it may not.
It's a word that may bring hope, or it may not.
And its a word that may bring judgment, or it may not.
You see, "if" is conditional. Many quote this verse and seem to just assume that God is going to heal and forgive us. But we mustn't be so fast to assume this because, once again, "if" is conditional.
In this verse, God is giving us a principle. He's telling us that His blessings are conditional. Conditional on what?
This verse shows us that his blessings are conditional upon us:
1. Becoming humble
2. Prayerfully seeking God's will
3. Turning from our evil ways
Not all believe what this verse is telling us.  Many Christians cannot believe that God would judge us for our actions.  They believe that God is only a God of love, and is not also a God of justice and wrath.  They have been deceived.
