MOTIVATION.

Madah Arta Swarga Radio (MARS FM) established on December 2nd 2000, is the realization to participate the Public Service for all community inside and outside Palu Region which was stuck in the middle of terrifying situation the result of Horizontal Human Rights Conflict at the Poso Regency which is only 400 Kilometer from Palu City.
The common indication happened at the post conflict territory; there was a sense of suspicious between clash groups, in this situation, even the unimportant things potentially become a trigger to spread the conflict getting worse. But with the awareness of loosing a trust between all groups is the main cause of the conflict, and then all the element should make a serious effort to build up the sense of trust for all community. In this unstable post conflict situation, when the sense of suspicious become a part that we can not avoid , so the effort to counter the manipulated issued and also to clear that issued at once is become an absolute things to be needed and done it.

THE EFFORT.

The approaching to the settlement of the conflict according to the holistic which made by the government, just succeed to bring back the Poso Regency safety, even the beat of the conflict still goes on and can be felt to Palu City. For all that matters to build up the media network information with all pubic element and to asking all community to rebuild the sense of trust and togetherness. Until now the service effort which is gave to the community by Madah Arta Swarga (MarsFM) Radio is to create a society who can live in peace and harmony, by broadcast the Gospel Songs and Evangelical Service which give a quiet and peaceful heart, and also make a live talk show with all Madah Arta Swarga (MarsFM) Radio listeners by phone. All of it was designed on every Madah Arta Swarga (MarsFM) Radio program in order to make the community will not get into the provocated issued, rather than that Madah Arta Swarga (MarsFM) Radio invite all community to stay Faithfull to pray and always to rely on God in facing all kind of situation.

CONSTRAINT.

Until now Madah Arta Swarga (MarsFM) Radio still do Biblical Service by broadcasting the Gospel Songs and Evangelical Service for almost seven years, however because of the power signal of Madah Arta Swarga (MarsFM) Radio still very weak, the broadcast of Madah Arta Swarga (MarsFM) Radio can not reach the region of Poso and other Regency. This obstacle have to be faced because there is no other funding source beside private fund which is collected day by day to financed the operation cost and to maintain the broadcast equipment. 80 % component being used on the transmitter system of Madah Arta Swarga (MarsFM) Radio was taken from second hand electronic equipment, and also the Tower Antenna only use a second hand electric pole which is connected with water pipe until reach 28 meter above the ground.

To increase the power system of Madah Arta Swarga (MarsFM) Radio broadcast in order to reach all community who stay outside Palu City based on the Vision and Mission of Madah Arta Swarga (MarsFM) Radio it self.

VISION.

Based on the name MARS stands for MADAH ARTA SWARGA which mean PRAISE TO THE HEAVEN WEALTH, then this Radio gave a peaceful feelings to the Heart for all Madah Arta Swarga (MarsFM) Radio Listeners through the Gospel Songs program and spreading the news of God; about the promise of salvation for all people who believe and want to accept Jesus Christ as a God and the savior of all mankind

M I S I O N .

Although with the improper conditions of the equipment, Madah Arta Swarga (Mars FM) Radio as the first Evangelical Radio Station at Central Sulawesi will maintain the existence, to reached out the main goal which also become the Vision of Madah Arta Swarga (Mars FM) Radio, which is; To create Christian Community who have a Biblical perception and really understand bout the meaning of one body, as well as glorify the live in peace and harmony attitude with every kind of people without look at the background, tribe, nation and religion as the implementation of our Lord Jesus Christ lesson about :

…Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
This is the first and great commandment.
And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
