This page will show the job descriptions for each staff position with the Temple of the Cross Ministries. Positions in orange are currently open. Positions in Blue are filled. Thank you for your interest in being a part of this ministry.
MINISTRIES COORDINATOR:
1. Look for ways to advertise the web site and get the word out about the ministry.
2. Work toward getting the departments working together.
3. Departments need to be communicating together.
4. Coordinate the staff.
PRAYER/ PASTORAL CARE:
1. Prayer list updated regulary as scheduled.
2. We need to email the people who submit prayer requests from the website.
3. We need an update every 3 weeks from those who have prayer requests on the list.
4. Send out Ecards to those who are on the prayer list.
5. Send ecards to those who are sick.
6. Minister to those in need.
YOUTH:
1. Youth Chat nights are Important.
2. We must be able to reach out and minister to the Youth.
3. Youth web page is important, reach out to those who are unchurched.
4. Minister to the Youth prayer partners.
5. Do a youth outreach.
COLLEGE:
1. The stats are 4 % stay in Church, 96 % drop out, we need to help them to stay in.
2. College Chat night - very Important.
3. College web page is very Important.
4. Minister to the College prayer partners.
5. Most of our prayer partners are College students.
EVANGELISM:
1. Monday night Evangelism Class -
train prayer partners how to witness, share their faith.
2. Friday night outreach -
Group prayer partners together to reach out to the lost people, after they are trained.
3. Evangelism Web Page should be and needs to be really awesome.
4. It is very Important to be covered in prayer.
RECRUITING:
1. Prayer partners must be born again Christians.
2. We can recruit from Community sites.
3. Recruit from Universities and Colleges.
WEB SITE:
1. Maintain the web site in a professional, orderly manner.
2. Need to do some family emphasis.
3. Minister to singles.
4. Make sure every department has a page.
5. Graphics stay up to date.
6. Stay up to date with this generation.
7. Help with advertising ideas, getting the word out.
PRAYER PARTNERS: 1. Prayer partners must be born again Christians.
2. We can always use more prayer partners! 3. Must have a valid E-Mail address.
4. Willing to join in prayer with many others over requests in the the prayer list sent out every week.
