We are a diverse group of people--in age, backgrounds, personalities, and gifts--that is growing in love for one another and unity in the faith. Under our Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ, we are led by the servant-leadership of three elders and three deacons. Presently serving as elders are Ron Dugan, John Nordin, and Jeff Ryan (pastor); serving as deacons are Curtis Beach, John Gauthier, and Neil Tolly.
We are trusting the Lord to bring the increase, as He wills, and realize that trusting Him means we will be striving to be faithful in obeying Him in the means He has ordained to build His kingdom (such as prayer, personal & corporate witness of the gospel of Jesus Christ beginning with our own community and going out to the ends of the earth, God-honoring worship, faithful teaching of His Word in context, submission to authority and to one another, admonishing one another, encouraging one another, dealing with sin in our lives & in our church as God has instructed, and sacrificially loving one another). We do not seek to do whatever works to get immediate results, or to please man, but to do what pleases God and trusts His power and grace to see true, lasting results. We desire to be used of God to make true disciples of Jesus Christ, not mere professors of faith in Him.
Calvary Bible Church has a long history of evangelical presence in Rogers City, beginning with a group of believers meeting in 1937 to form the Rogers City Gospel Assembly. God has been faithful over the years to sustain this church body and use it for His glory. We welcome you to join us for our worship services anytime or contact us for more information.
