Coweta Falls Chapter SAR Speakers at Blanchard Elemtary School, Columbus, Ga.
On December 8th, Bill Hay, John McCutcheon, and Neil Gillis (L-R) spoke to four classes of fourth graders at Blanchard Elementary School. The subjects were the Battle of Lexington and Concord, the Shot Heard Around the World, and Paul Revere’s Ride. Also presented was why this Revolution started and the freedoms that resulted. Standing with the speakers is Andrea Toole, one of the teachers. Other fourth grade teachers were Dawn Lovil, Monica Lumpkin, and Jan Highnote.
