COUNTRYVIEW BAPTIST CHURCH STATEMENT OF BELIEFS
There is one and only one living and true God. He is an intelligent, spiritual, and personal Being, the Creator, Redeemer, Preserver, and Ruler of the Universe. God is infinite in holiness and all other perfections. To Him we owe the highest love, reverence, and obedience. The eternal God reveals Himself to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, with distinct personal attributes, but without division of nature, essence, or being. Each person is complete within Himself, yet they are all the same essence. God is perfect and holy. His attributes and characteristies are unflawed and unchangeable Malachi 3:6, Deuteronomy 6:4, John 1:1 Genesis 1:2, Philippians 2:5-7.
GOD THE FATHER God the Father reigns with providential care over His universe. His creatures, and the flow of the stream of human history according to the purposes of His grace. He is all powerful, all loving, and all wise. God is Father in truth to those who become children of God through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. He is fatherly in His Attitude toward Men. Gens. 1:1; 2:7, Ex. 3:14; 6:2-3; 15:11; 20:1; Matt. 6:9; 7:11; 23:9; 28:19
GOD THE SON Christ is the eternal Son of God. In His incarnation as Jesus Christ He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. Jesus perfectly revealed and did the will of God. He was and is all God and all Man John 1:1-3; 14. He existed in the form of a man and was completely God. Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins, was buried, and He bodily resurrected on the third day and is now in heaven pleading our case before the Father. Matthew 1:18; John 1:1 Philippians 2:5-7 Romans5:6; Matthew 28:1-6.
GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God. He is the third person of the Godhead. His mission to mankind is to convict men of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment. Comfort the hurting, and lead people toward holiness. John 14:16-21; Romans 1:4.
SINS entered the world by one man. Adam. Because of that all have sinned. We believe all who are born are born sinners in need of a Savior. The Bible teaches that sin can be forgiven. If we confess our sins and repent and turn from our sins to God, then God forgives us and thereby cleanses us of all our sins. Romans 5:12; I John 1:9; Isaiah 53:6-7.
SALVATION Because of the loving grace of God salvations is offered to all who will receive the gift.Salvation is free to mankind, but came at a great price to God, He gave His only begotten Son to pay the redemptive price, His shed blood. We believe all who confess Christ as Lord andbelieve that God raised Him from the dead will be saved. Romans 10:9-10; Ephesians 2:8-10;John 3:16.
BAPTISM The Bible teaches that all who have received Christ as Lord and Savior should be baptized.The word "baptize" means to immerse or dip under. Therefore we pratice post salvation immersion, as we believe this to be the biblical model. Acts 2:41; Acts 8:36-38.
COMMUNION The Lord's Supper. We believe that the Communion is commanded by Jesus to be regulary observed until His return. We believe that the bread and juice are symbolic of Christ's body and blood. We believe communion is a solemn act and should be entered into after serious reflection and confession of sin. Luke 22:14-22
THE RETUN OF JESUS CHRIST The Bible teaches us that Jesus Christ will retun There is much debate on the events on eventssurrounding His return and there is room for disagreement with some of the events, yet the fact is that Jesus will come back and receive us all who know and love Him unto Himself. We are looking for His blessed appearing at any monemt.John 14:1-7; Acts 1:11; Titus 2:13.
THE BIBLE We believe that the Bible is the Word of God.It is perfect in all that it teaches. It is infallible, inerrant, and inspired by God Himself. He guided men of old to record His desired revelation of Himself so all humanity would have a road map to find God and everlasting life through His Son Jesus Christ.We believe the Bible is timeless and is relevant to socitey today. 2 Timothy 3:15-17; Psalm 119: 9-11. We use only the KJV 1611 Bible.
WHAT WE BELIEVE AT COUNTRYVIEW BAPTIST B.C.We are a New Testament Body of Born again Believers. We love the Lord Jesus Christ with all of our hearts, and we love one another as the Bible teaches. We believe there is only one way to heaven John 14:6. Salvation is only by the grace of God Ephesians 2:8-10. By faith in the finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ on the Cross Romans 5:8.

OUR PURPOSE STATEMENT Matthew 28:18-20 And Jesus came and spake unto them, "saying All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost; Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world." A-men.
OUR VISION STATEMENT Win the lost, baptize them, teach them to obey the Word of God, and follow the Lord Jeus Christ, be faithful to the Lord, and the Church which He has placed them in to serve Him.OUR QUESTION TO YOU Where will you spend eternity?
