Join us and help out with our Christ Church Victory Garden!
We plant raised beds in the Spring and anyone may come and pick vegetables--all we ask is that before you pick, that you help with the watering and weeding so there will be more for next time.
Christ Church is the proud sponsor of the Northeast Michigan Regional Farm Market
Time and Location: (May through October)
SATURDAYS 8 am until 1pm every Saturday in downtown East Tawas on the corner of W. Westover and Sawyer, Christ Church parking lot.
WEDNESDAYS 9 am to 2pm at Shoreline Park in Oscoda-AuSable, US-23 at the river.

ANNUAL EVENTS
The Strawberry Festival—Our big day of Summer is the 4th of July Strawberry Festival: A famous Tawas area tradition that is fun for the whole family.
The Christ Church Bazar—Held in October each year, the bazar also includes a bake sale and granny's attic.
Perchville Bake Sale—Our February bake sale which takes place during the perch ice fishing season on the nearby Tawas Bay, where hundreds gather at "Perchville USA."
Relay for Life—Raises money for cancer research with sponsored walkers and sale booths.

Lay Eucharistic Ministers—Licensed members who serve during the Sunday service and help distribute the Communion Chalice.
Lay Eucharistic Visitors—Licensed members who visit the sick and assist the clergy in bringing communion to the homebound.
Choir—An opportunity to learn the music of the church with a great group of people and to perform during the Sunday services.
Altar Guild—Sets up for the Sunday Eucharist and the other services of the Church.
Episcopal Church Women—A fellowship group dedicated service in the Episcopal Church. It is open to all women in the church.
Youth Workers—The volunteers who help run the Sunday school and nursery. Requirements include diocesan Safe-Church training.
Crafters for Christ—Meet regularly to make crafts for the annual Christ Church Bazar. The proceeds from these items go to outreach.
Operation Shoebox—Volunteers from around the area work to keep our troops supplied with food and necessities while serving over seas.
