I want to praise God for all the good things he does for us. Gary's dr did not find any serious problems. He cleaned out a couple of arteries. He does have a 100% blockage, but it is in a small artery and should not cause a problem. We were at the hospital 10 hours and then went back to our daughter's house. I also want to thank God for our children and their families who are so supportive when we need them. For Lorie's next door neighbors who were with us at the hospital for almost 5 hours except when they went to Lorie's to feed and walk our dog. But most of all I thank God for my Church family that I can depend on to pray for us. I believe that prayer works and changes our lives for the better.

As I said last night, I have never been so happy to see all of my christian family in church together. It was very hard for me to leave them and come to Burdine but seeing Derek and how much his brother loves him and how well he is doing; and being with MY pastor; it was all worth it. I hope we all realize how lucky we are to have a pastor like Bennie. He is the greatesst!! And to see that his little brother is following in his footsteps is just so wonderful. I am very lucky to have so many brothers and sisters in Christ. Thank you GOD.

She gives God credit and glory for bringing her through these tests and exams. I thank God for this family.
I also want to thank God for allowing me to have such an anointed Pastor. How blessed our we? We have such a spirit-led leader who obeys God and not man. Given that this month is Pastor Appreciation Month, I just wanted to say how much I appreciate you Brother Benny...(and Alison and Isaiah too.) We love you guys!!!

I got up this morning and sat on the back porch, while reading my morning Bible study. It is amazing the beauty, fresh air,and the abundant other gifts that God has bestowed upon us that we do not always take the time to say Thank You Lord for giving me the ability to breathe, hear and see this beautiful world. We are usually too tied up with career, daily chores and even frustrations to realize that God has given us a great life and we need to be much more thankful that he is allowing for us to use these blessings. I want to say that I am very Thankful and I want to be closer to God every second of my days. Thank you God for the blessings that you bestow on us everyday.

I want to give GOD thanks for all of His blessings I've witnessed throughout the week. Allison and I had the opportuniy to go to Lexington to visit with Mark, Tanya and Brittany, and I'm so very thankful of how GOD is blessing her to recover. I also stopped by to visit Wanda Yonts in UK and she is doing better also. Bro. Ralph came through his surgery ok, and sister Sherry is still improving, I went to see a great person that I had met for the first time her name is Victoria Kiser (Delberts Grandmother)she is 96 yrs old and is in St Marys hospital and a blessing to talk to. so I would like to thank GOD for the blessings in our life, I know the snow's falling and it's cold outside but thanks be to our awsome GOD our hearts are overwhelmed with THANKSGIVING! I know that hardships may overtake us from time to time, but like me and a gentleman was talking about at the hospital, when we think we've have it bad and all is falling around us it doesn't take long if we look at the situation of others to realize how blessed we are. Please let us take time through the upcoming week to remeber the things we have in our lives to thank our blessed Savior JESUS CHRIST for: (Salvation, Family, Friends, our Church family and many other wonderful blessings). May the LORD richly bless you - see ya Sunday! (Lord willing).

I just have to share this with everyone...if you haven't read the book "23 Minutes in Hell", please do so. I am sleepless at the moment thinking about all the people I should be pleading with and witnessing to about that awful place that none of us were ever supposed to go to. I just have to share this burden with you guys so I can get some relief from this. I have a whole new sense of urgency for the lost...if we really thought about the atrocities of that place, we would be pleading and begging people to change their course and accept Jesus...No one likes to think of this subject, but it's a reality. Some people think that a loving God would never send his children there, but God doesn't "send" us there; we send ourselves there. He gave us an out...and that is his perfect precious son Jesus Christ. How blessed we are to call Him our Savior!!! How worthy He is. I love Him! I have cried most of the day over this...God has opened my eyes...we are to be about the Father's business, and I know I have let him down in that area. I am just so thankful...Thank You Lord. You are my Redeemer! You have saved us...because you love us!! Praise Your Holy Name...

I'm sitting in my study and began to think of something that may incourage someone, and this verse came to mind. Romans 8:37 the Apostle Paul was writing to the Roman Church and penned this awsome scripture, In all these things we are more than CONQUERORS through HIM (JESUS) that loved us. Webster defines conquer as- "to get control of as by winning a war" or "as to overcome". As Christians we are almost constantly in a spiritual battle with satan and his devices, but when we think that we cant overcome our problems of temptation, addiction, or anything else that satan may attack us with lets remember what GOD'S WORD tells us about it, that we can overcome by "HIM THAT LOVED US" JESUS!!! THE SON OF GOD, OUR SAVIOR AND KING! GLORY TO HIS NAME! were not overcoming on our own, but it's JESUS fighting for us to help us to win the battles of life. Start your day with prayer and seeking after GOD'S face and ask Him to guide you through the day, and HE will lead you through by the power of THE HOLY SPIRIT.
May the LORD bless you as you continue to overcome through JESUS.

I borrowed this quote from Autumn, but we both share this feeling.
When we wake up in the morning, we want the devil to scream "no, she's up!" We should make him scared of what we will do that day! Working for Christ, witnessing to others, or even just a simple prayer can do so much. But with every blessing, expect an attack! We just can't let him win...ever! Just some thoughts for a rainy Wednesday morning! I am looking forward to what God is gonna do!

Thank you Bennie for that... I was so down and out this morning about some certain things, but I had a certain peace that no matter how hard our daily lives get, we have a Savior who will not forsake us. He sticks closer to us than a brother. I know I can call on him day or night and he will be there for me. Just day to day, raising 3 children and trying to be the mom and dad to them, gets tough, but I don't worry , "Will I do it right?" I worry, "Will I do it the way God intends?" I can always use the prayers of my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. I am so overwhelmed with gratitude and love for such a wonderful Christian family and church.

I'm very greatful that there is a section on our wonderful sight to include praise to our GOD! as I set here at my desk and pray for the request that have been added my heart goes out to each one, and I'm reminded of many times in the Bible for many people when all hope seemed lost, but in those moments we see so many times our LORD comes on the scene and changes what looks like defeat into total VICTORY!!! So as we read this and think of our needs, lets also take time to bow our hearts to our Awsome GOD!, our Heavenly Father! and give Him praise for all that He has already given us. The answered prayers, and the great promises He has given to us in His Word- Romans 8:18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. Amazing promises JESUS came to bless us with, in closing I pray GOD richly blesses every one that reads this. I love you, but the LORD loves us so much more!

Today is Isaiah's 6th Birthday. I want to praise our Lord again for blessing us with such a great and beautiful little boy. 10 months before Isaiah was born, I had a miscarriage. All the while Bennie and I trusted in our God & His promise in Romans 8:28. We never questioned His purpose. Through much prayer and supplication, we asked God to bless us again with a baby, and He did!!! This is why I am so thankful for my boy, and I want God's blessing to be upon him. I never want to fail to give God the Glory for giving us Isaiah.
