JESUS, THE HEALER FOR AN AGE IN NEED OF HEALING

CORPORATE RESPONSIBILITY WITH INDIVIDUAL FREEDOM OF FUNCTION

INDIVIDUAL FREEDOM OF FUNCTION WITH CORPORATE RESPONSIBILITY

What does this all mean for you?

Read on: -

"Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshippers will worship the Father in Spirit

and truth, for they are the kind of worshippers the Father seeks.

God is Spirit, and his worshippers must worship in spirit and truth."

                                                                                                            John 4:23, 24.

This shows that as God Himself is One; Father, Son and Holy Spirit, so is Jesus’ bride the Church, one.

Therefore the universal Church is one. We are all intricately part of Christ's body the Church.

We all have the same purpose; to do as Jesus does.

How is this possible?

For the Father has life in himself, so has granted to the Son to have life in himself.

John 5:26

A clear pattern already exists for us in the Godhead.

Each person of the Godhead has a very clear identity and function.

Everywhere in scripture we find we can identify

God the Father,

God the Son

and God the Holy Spirit exactly,

they are always themselves!

They have no identity crisis!

They each have an exact function in the Godhead!

We always find them `about their business.'

ABOUT THEIR BUSINESS: -

GOD THE FATHER

`A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling.'

                                                                             Psalm 68:5,

Yet, O Lord, you are our Father, We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand.'

                                                                              Isaiah 64:8,

This, then is how you should pray: Our Father in Heaven, hallowed be your name.

                                                                              Matthew 6:9,

GOD THE SON

`And a voice from heaven said, "This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased."

                                                                              Matthew 3:17,

`where he stayed until the death of Herod. And so was fulfilled what the Lord had said through the

prophet: "Out of Egypt I called my son."

                                                                               Matthew 2:15,

"What do you want with us, Son of God?" they shouted. "Have you come here to torture us before

the appointed time?"

                                                                               Matthew 8:29,

GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT

`Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of

God was hovering over the waters'

                                                                              Genesis 1:2,

`Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit to sustain me.

Then I will teach your transgressors your ways, and sinners will turn back to you.

                                                                               Psalm 51:11, 12,

`And you were also included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation.

Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit,’

                                                                               Ephesians 1:13,

Yet while being Themselves always; They always are in complete and utter unity!

The question comes again; how is this possible?

Scripture allows us to peek into Their interactions with one another.

Lets take a few examples; there are many more!

"Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped,

but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness."

                                                                                 Philippians 2:6, 7.

"and He [Father] has given Him authority to judge because He is the Son of Man."

                                                                                 John 5:27.

"By Myself I can do nothing, I judge only as I hear, and My judgement is just, for I seek not to

please myself, but Him who sent Me."

                                                                                 John 5:30.

"You judge by human standards, I pass judgement on no-one. But if I do judge my decisions are

right, because I am not alone. I stand with the Father who sent Me."

                                                                                 John 8:15, 16.

"..... the words I say to you are not just my own. Rather it is the Father, living in Me, who is

doing His work."

                                                                                 John 14:10.

As we read through the scriptures throughout the Bible, we need to notice that in the Godhead there is: -

CORPORATE RESPONSIBILITY WITH INDIVIDUAL FREEDOM OF FUNCTION

CORPORATE RESPONSIBILITY is defined in the following scripture:

"The King will reply, `I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine,

you did for me.'

                                                                                                            Matthew 25:40.

It is obvious from the above scripture that Jesus sees no separation between Himself and His Body.

What happens to the one is regarded as happening to the other.

His Body would be a company of people who are aware of corporate responsibility in matters of mutual

concern to each other.

The Individuals of His Body would care about and for each other while living and expressing their own destinies.

Responsibility to each other would mean a group of people - The Body of Christ - involved in the mutual benefit

of the respective members of His Body, so that they would be able to set up a strong community of shared interests.

His Body would always have in their consciousness a sphere of awareness that whatever activity they take part in,

which it will, be for the benefit, gain, improvement and increase of both the Body of Christ and the individual

member of His Body.

The purpose would be to expand and grow so that the advantage and assistance accruing to the corporate

company of people, His Body, would then filter down to Individuals.

Responsibility means accountability in whatever task or duty they have to perform.

Accountability is achieved by means of conscientiousness, reliability and trustworthiness.

The individuals concerned would have as characteristics the following:-

We are to have the qualities of steadfastness, loyalty, fidelity, constancy, faithfulness, commitment.

This is ensuring that when vows and promises are made they are kept and fulfilled.

The following scripture shows INDIVIDUAL FREEDOM OF FUNCTION expressed in Jesus.

He withdrew about a stone's throw beyond them, knelt down and prayed, "Father, if you are

willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done."

                                                                                                            [Luke 22:41, 42.]

An INDIVIDUAL is a single or particular person, special not general. That will be an individual person

having a distinct character or characteristic of a particular person [designed for use by one person].

A single member of a class or a single human being as distinct from a family or group.

The individual could be described as particular, singular, specific, separate, distinct, discrete, special,

peculiar, distinctive, different, unusual, odd, extraordinary, original, or unique.

Their behaviour could also be described as characteristic, typical, distinctive, idiosyncratic, peculiar,

personal, own.

Any or all of these attributes would be discernable within the Individual who is part of the Body of Christ.

FREEDOM OF FUNCTION would be personal or civic liberty; absence of slave status, the power of

self-determination; the quality of not being controlled by fate or necessity. It would also involve the

state of being free to act; both individually and to the corporate good.

The qualities of frankness, outspokenness would be evident. Included would be freeness, liberty,

release, deliverance, liberation, emancipation, independence, self-government, self-direction, and autonomy.

We also have our own ability, facility, discretion, authorization, power, and a free hand in the Body of Christ.

This would find expression in candour, honesty, openness, frankness, outspokenness, candidness,

naturalness; boldness, audacity, audaciousness, forwardness, deliverance, liberation and relief.

As an individual in the Body of Christ we would have the range, latitude or scope to play, or run with

liberty, facility, ease, easiness with effortlessness and simplicity.

This would be an implicit part of the Individuals of the Body of Christ.

And within the context of the above

The Godhead [Father, Son & Holy Spirit] display: -

*** Total love towards each other ***

Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been

born of God and knows God.

                                                                                                    1 John 4:7.

*** Total joy towards each other ***

For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace

and joy in the Holy Spirit...

                                                                                                    Romans 14:17.

*** Total peace towards each other ***

May the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from

the dead our Lord Jesus...

                                                                                                    Hebrews 13:20.

*** Total patience towards each other ***

Bear in mind that our Lord's patience means salvation...

                                                                                                    2 Peter 3:15.

*** Total goodness towards each other ***

The Lord is good to all.

                                                                                                    Psalm 145:9.

*** Total faithfulness toward each other ***

Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God...

                                                                                                    Deuteronomy 7:9.

*** Total self-control toward each other ***

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

gentleness and self-control.

                                                                                                    Galatians 5:22.

*** Total humility toward each other ***

Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you

will find rest for your souls.

                                                                                                    Matthew 11:29.

*** Total dedication to a common purpose ***

In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works

out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will...............

                                                                                                    Ephesians 1:11.

Thus we have

INDIVIDUAL FREEDOM WITH CORPORATE RESPONSIBILITY

The Individuals of the Godhead encapsulate the above statements qualities in fullness.

The whole purpose of this website becomes a search for what the Scripture has to say on the

subject of: -

CORPORATE RESPONSIBILITY AND INDIVIDUAL FREEDOM OF FUNCTION
INDIVIDUAL FREEDOM OF FUNCTION AND CORPORATE RESPONSIBILITY
UNITY IN DIVERSITY
DIVERSITY IN UNITY

1. The burning question becomes one of how we integrate ideas that apparently exist at either

end of the spectrum or pendulum. How do we get these ideas to flow in complete harmony;

so we can finally reach the stage where the fruits of the Spirit [love, joy, peace, patience,

kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control] become the complete norm in

our lives, rather than the exception!

2. The answer, of course, is that we have to have a pattern or prototype. We need a model,

a blueprint that shows us what it is that we are trying to accomplish with our lives. We would

benefit from a configuration that would guide us through the maze of life. This is an example

or a precedent that we could always use to centre ourselves when confusion abounds; when

we are wondering where to turn next.

An outline or structure that serves as a guide but that does not take control of our lives to the

extent that we become non-entities. There should be a design or plan, an arrangement of

guidelines in order that we might organize the details of our lives; to give us maximum freedom

to operate our lives with choices that are going to serve us.

As we do not exist in isolation; we need to make sure that those choices ricochet back to us with

maximum benefit to all, including ourselves. We would mould ourselves as time progresses into habit

patterns and choices that would always enable us to select the most productive and appropriate

behaviour for the occasion.

The need would be to copy the best and most constructive parts of the Plan of God so that we could

prefigure and derive maximum benefit for all concerned.

Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;

                                                                        Ephesians 5:1 [King James version]

In the Amplified Bible and the Message Bible the verse above is expanded and is explained as follows: -

Consequently, and as a result, we need to duplicate, echo, assume, portray, and reproduce His

prototype and pattern, and become a likeness, model, a replication.

Because we are cherished, precious, valued, esteemed and treasured as God’s offspring and family,

we do as DAD does.

The archetype would be the Godhead, three Persons who can be completely identified as Individuals

and yet never miss a beat in flowing in unity.

We see Jesus just before the crucifixion sweating blood as He wrestled with His choices.

We see Him flowing in Individual freedom of function and then taking His own internal responsibility

for His involvement in the common good and making a choice which gave the whole world freedom.

Through this choice for the common good He earned the authority He has been given – All authority

in Heaven, on the earth, and under the earth, in fact everywhere in the universe and out of it.

A construction or pattern of guidelines given by the Person of the Godhead to enable us, to help us,

to maximise, to make the most our choices for the benefit of everyone, including ourselves.

3.  We would need to search the Scriptures to see if such patterns or guidelines exist. What is it in

the Bible that the Godhead has provided for our elucidation and explanation?

We would have to establish whether the Old Testament and the New Testament are two separate items.

Whether the guidance is of two separate varieties, or do they flow together as one – yet another

example of Unity in diversity and Diversity in Unity

Is the Bible capable of explaining itself, by itself? Does the Bible contain its own explanations, and answers?

Having laid down the quest we need to progress from there; and in the following pages in the rest of

the site; we need to look at what answers are available in the Scriptures; and also look at the revelations that

God has given His people.

It is intended that the following pages of this site be of some assistance in finding these answers

from the Scriptures.

Although at first this is not at first apparent, the Scriptures we have looked at above change

completely our paradigm of belief structures that we carry with us!!!

In the `Constantine system’ which was set down by the Roman Emperor Constantine in about 300 A.D.;

the whole system is set up in the ‘pyramid format’ of an organisation where you have a set man

at the top who says how things are going to be, and there is little or no individual freedom of function

for the individual’s further down the ladder of the organisation.

In fact, in the `worst case’ scenario there is no free will or freedom of action what so ever. Explicit

orders have to be obeyed to the letter which provides for no flexibility and can further result in what

is being done having nothing to do with what is actually happening on the ground.

In God’s paradigm however the opposite is true. The `Unity Factor’ is based on Father God’s Will,

Who has given us a mandate which is to spread His Love throughout all creation.

An example of this is the Scripture which says that it is His Will that all should come to repentance,

but gives all of creation the opportunity to accept or reject His offer. Having made that choice they

then live with the consequences of that choice! [If His offer is not accepted the result then that one

is outside of His Love by ones own choice.]

There is no such point to what some people say; that matters spiritual are a crutch to lean on.

Observation of how the universe that God created functions; is that God has made for there to be

basic patterns around which everything revolves. These are known as `fractil’ patterns and they

form the hub for infinite variety.

Everyone who has a conscious intelligence has to have a central objective around which to revolve,

something that gives direction in life. So that is why we have to centre ourselves spiritually with a

definite understanding  of what we are going to revolve around.

We have to make a conscious choice to live our lives as the Persons of the Godhead live theirs---

complete and utter Unity of Purpose together with the individual choices that the Persons of the

Godhead make as they flow in their existence. Each Individual choice being within the context.

INDIVIDUAL FREEDOM WITH CORPORATE RESPONSIBILITY

The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let him who hears say, "Come!"

Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life

                                                                                                   Revelation 22:17.

Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No-one comes to the Father except through me.'

                                                                                                   John 14:6.

"If you love me, you will obey what I command. I will ask the Father, and He will give you another

Counsellor to be with you forever - the Spirit of Truth.'

                                                                                                   John 14:15.

`On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you. Whoever

has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. He who loves me will be loved by my

Father, and I too will love him and show myself to him."

                                                                                                   John 14:20,21.

Jesus replied, "If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and we will come

to him and make our home with him. He who does not love me will not obey my teaching.. These words

you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me.

"All this I have spoken while still with you, But the Counsellor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send

in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I said to you. Peace I leave with you;

my peace I give you. I do not give as the world gives.

Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

                                                                                                   John 14:23-27.

"I have much more to say to you, more than you can bear. But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he

will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will

tell you what is yet to come. He will bring glory to me by taking from what is mine and making it known to you.

"In a little while you will see me no more, and then after a little while you will see me."

                                                                                                   John 16:12-16.

The universal aspect of the Body of Christ has not even begun to be plumbed. The Corporate Body of church

members operating in flowing unity is impossible with the old structures of the Church;

which are mostly man designed and bear no connection with the scriptural patterns that are in the scriptures.

It is only possible if the scriptural patterns are followed with close attention to the meanings behind

the detail, and exact applications of the patterns that the Lord has set forth.

The reader is invited to test every line of this website; so that the scriptural patterns can come to life

and be in place as they should be. We have tested these things since 1988 and found everything to be so.

The only failure is where the people have not applied what we call the ‘Biblical Technology’

[to contextualise it for modern minds]

The Corporate Body of Christ could achieve mightily what would be impossible as individual saints.

The Corporate Body of Christ working together to eliminate the problems of dysfunction, and could address

many of the evils of the modern world.

This website will cover the many aspects of Christian life, and will highlight scripturally what should

be done in each of them.

However, it is all useless unless we have a personal relationship with the Holy Spirit. Our involvement

with the Holy Spirit needs to be on the following basis:

We need to know His Presence

We need to fellowship with Him

We need to share our lives with Him and His with ours

We need to participate in the Holy Spirit’s life & ours with His

We need to have our inter-action be intimate between Him & us

We need to establish a friendship between the Holy Spirit & us

We need to have a comradeship between the Holy Spirit & us

This is all possible because in the book of John Chapters 14 & 15 [Amplified Bible] it becomes clear

that the Holy Spirit is our

Comforter

Counsellor

Helper

Intercessor

Advocate

Strengthener

Standby

which, if we allow Him His space, He can work with us to establish the above in our lives.

In the scriptures, when it is talking about the giving of the gifts it talks about ‘it is the same Holy Spirit’

or ‘it is the one Holy Spirit’ thus showing that the Holy Spirit is the hub around which the Body of

Christ revolves.

He is our vital connecting link without which there can be no ultimate unity.
