About Us
About Beckley Praise Church: Beckley Praise Church is made up of people from different religious backgrounds. We have discovered a meaningful relationship with Jesus Christ. We are an evangelical body of believers with a firm emphasis upon the Word of God (the Bible) and a Holy Spirit filled life. We are a family-oriented church with a strong emphasis placed on family relationships. Missions -domestic and foreign- are of major importance to this body. Our desire is to fulfill the command of Jesus to "go into all the world and preach the gospel." When we gather to worship the Lord, our music is spiritual, the fellowship open, and the preaching practical. All services are designed to "worship God in Spirit and in truth."
As a church, we base our teaching upon God’s revealed word, the Bible. It is our desire that people come to place their trust in Christ to forgive them and lead them, and that they grow in their relationship with Him. Our sincere prayer is that you will experience the presence of our wonderful Savior, Jesus Christ, when you fellowship with us.
We seek to provide regular teaching and preaching of the Bible, meaningful times of worship, opportunities for fellowship, prayer, outreach, and numerous other ministries for people of all ages. What you see, what you feel and what you hear at Beckley Praise is what God is doing in the lives of our people, our ministries, and our leadership. We are seeking to grow in our knowledge and in our love for Him. It is our desire to see our Lord glorified as we gather for worship and scatter to evangelize.
