THE CALL OF IT'S A SECOND CHANCE OUT REACH MINISTRY

The Call

During  a fast in September 2007 the Lord spoke to me and told me in order to do what he has called me to do my mind and heart has to be clear at all times.  That very day sitting at my dining room table I heard what the Lord said to me and I decided that it is time to get very serious about my purpose in life and that is to truly win souls for Christ.

At that moment I felt that my heart and my mind came together in agreement that it is not about me and what my fears are, it’s about doing the will of my Father which is Jesus Christ.  Although I knew what the calling was I just did not want to make the commitment to God.  In order to walk in the Evangelistic calling that is on my life I preferred doing what I have to do without being in the lime light.

The Experience

I have experienced a great reduction in my salary and bills being past due because I don’t have the money to pay them.  This may sound foolish to some people but if you know anything about me it is that I have always been able to hold my own with finances and the Lord had to strip me in order for me to surrender my whole heart mind body and soul to him. In spite of all of my hard times that I am experiencing at this point in my life even with a more than $20,000 cut in pay a year; I never stopped paying my tithes and offerings,  fasting and praying, going to church, going to bible study or Sunday school nor believing that God is still in control.

The word of the Lord says “…No weapon that is formed against me shall prosper…” (Isaiah 54:17) and he also said that he would keep me in perfect peace if I kept my mind on him. I knew that the day I said YES Lord  the attacks would start but I am still determined to do Gods will.

The Birth

God put in my heart the name It's a Second Chance Outreach Ministry. For me to go forth and minister to the broken hearted, the lost, and the lonely to let them know that the same God that saved me and cleaned me up is the same God that will do the same for them. I will continue to reach out to the people in love and not to judge. We are always so quick to judge people and their circumstances as though we have always been saved and have never done any wrong (Lord rebuke that spirit) it is not of God. We need to help that troubled man, woman, boy or girl get over their problems help them through Christ get back on there feet and move forward and be able to say with confidence “I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13).
I know that I can do nothing without Christ  but I desire to do something and that's helping other’s to have a Second Chance at life the way that Jesus has set the plan.
Together lets make negative things we have done become our testimony of where we were and who we are today because someone through Christ wanting me to have a second chance

The Vision

"Where there is no vision the people perish, but he that keepeth the law, happy is he who leads the vision" Proverbs 29:18 
I thank GOD for the Vision of It's a Second Chance Outreach Ministry which is also our Misison Statement:

"Going forth and ministering to the broken hearted, the lost, and alone to let them know that the same God that saved me and cleaned me up is the same God that will do the same for them.  I will continue to reach out to the people in love and not to judge.  Helping them through Christ get back on their feet and move forward.   They too will be able to say what the word of the Lord says,  "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me".  Philippians 4:13
