David L. Ward has been named the new Pastor at Allensville Baptist Church in Mt. Pleasant, TN on June 24th, 2012. He has been preaching as an Evangelical Preacher since 1997. He was licensed to preach on March the 17th 2010 at First Family Baptist Church in Columbia, TN. David has preached in many areas in the Southeastern part of the United States as well as in Iraq and Kuwait. 

He is a combat veteran of Iraqi Freedom where he served from 2007 to 2008. While serving in Iraq he started a church where many nationalities attended. 

He has served on Active Duty in the US Army and the Tennessee Army National Guard for the last twenty seven years. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Management from Coastal Carolina University.
