God has tremendously blessed the Women’s Work of State of Alaska Jurisdiction, and it is with great joy that we share it with you.

Mother Mable Brown-Gibbons born in Hendersonville, South Carolina, assumed the role of leadership at the early age of ten years old, to assist her mother in raising the family due to the untimely death of her father.

She later became united with Specialist 4, Joe L. Gibbons in holy matrimony with whom God blessed to have five beautiful Children and twenty-one grandchildren.

After receiving salvation in 1962, Mother Gibbons began her journey to help the needy. In the capacities to teach and serve the church at large, Mother Gibbons moved through the ranks as Sunday School Superintendent in Hawaii, Sunday School teacher, Local Bible Band President, Purity Vice- President, Aspiring Missionary, Deaconess Missionary, Evangelist Missionary, Chairlady for the State YPWW and Stat Women’s Department Chairlady and Assistant to the State Supervisor in Alaska. Mother Gibbons has served as the Vice-President of the Anchorage Chapter of Women’s’ Aglow and, under the auspices of her local church’s Mission Department, implanted an outreach program to “Help Those In Need”. She is a counselor, tutor, and resource teacher for the Alaska Native and American Indians in the Anchorage School District.

Mother Gibbons has warmed the hearts of many through the Word of God throughout the world including Germany, Okinawa, Tokyo, Japan, and London, England. She is a praying woman of faith, who believes in consecration. She is dedicated and committed to inspiring others, and to the development of the women’s work throughout Alaska.

Mother Gibbons is a true Woman of God to the Work of the ministry and pleasing the heart of God. Her goals to serve, praise, and please her Lord and Savior has manifested itself mightily throughout the Church Of God In Christ in the Jurisdiction of Alaska. She is our Women’s Department Supervisor and a humble example of a Holy Woman of God.
