The PowerPoints Challenge was started to give OurChurch.Com a way to order sites on the Member Sites page. The main Member Sites page lists the top 10 sites in order of the PowerPoints scored for that month. The more PowerPoints you earn, the higher your site will rank on the page. You also become eligible for free advertising (details follow).

Top 10 Sites. Those sites that finish in the top 10 will be placed in a drawing. Two sites will be drawn to receive 3,000 advertising banner impressions in the following month

Sites 11-20. Sites ending the month ranked between 11 and 20 will be placed in a second drawing. One site will be drawn to receive 2,000 advertising banner impressions in the following month.

Sites 21-30. Sites ending the month ranked between 21 and 30 will be placed in a third drawing. One site will be drawn to receive 1,000 advertising banner impressions in the following month.

We award points based on services you purchase from OurChurch.Com. You are also rewarded for completing surveys, site traffic, advertising click-throughs, and referrals.

Ad-free site	2000 points	Awarded monthly to sites with this premium option.
Starter Package	700 points	Awarded monthly to sites with a Starter package.
Bronze Package	1500 points	Awarded monthly to sites with a Bronze package.
Silver Package	2000 points	Awarded monthly to sites with a Silver package.
Gold Package	3000 points	Awarded monthly to sites with a Gold package.
Advertising, Design, & Search Marketing services	varies	Points are awarded on a predetermined scale depending on the scope of the service.
Survey	250 points	Occasionally, OurChurch.Com will take a short survey of all Webmasters. If you complete the survey, you'll earn the points.
Newsletter Poll	100 points	Every Webmaster Newsletter has a poll question. Vote in the poll, and you'll earn the points.
Ad Clicks	20 points	Every time someone clicks on one of the ads on our site (excluding banner ads and Google ads) you will receive 20 points. Ad-free sites can't earn these points, but are compensated with 2000 points as described above.
Hits	1 point	Every time a page on your NE1 site is viewed, a point is awarded.
Referrals	20%	If you tell someone about OurChurch.Com's free website service, make sure you give them your ID#. You'll receive 20% of the points that your referring sites earn. To receive credit for referrals, they must go to their webmaster page, click the PowerPoints Challenge option, and enter your ID# into the box asking who referred them.
Migration	1000 points	Given to anyone who migrates a site from BEACON to NE1.
Custom CMS	2000 points	Given to all completed Custom CMS Express sites.

Details on your site's current point total, position, and referred sites are available from your Webmaster page.

1. A site must be listed in our Christian search engine for PowerPoints to be earned.
2. The four randomly selected winners will be notified of their prizes around the first of the month. They are expected to supply a 468 x 60 (pixels) graphic with a maximum file size of 20KB within 7 days. If none is supplied, a generic graphic will be created and displayed.
3. A person or organization is only eligible to win one award per month.
4. The winners' ads will be displayed during the last three weeks of that month in regular rotation with other ads.
5. There is no limit to the number of sites one can refer.
6. A person is permitted to create multiple sites at OurChurch.Com (although only one per month can win an award) and can list one of his/her other sites for a referral.
7. Each survey can only be completed once per site.
8. It is likely but not guaranteed that a new survey will be posted each month.
9. Please be honest in your actions. Repeatedly clicking through on ads or repeatedly reloading pages just to raise your score is not permitted and will result in disqualification from the contest. If our logs reveal that you have clicked on more than one ad in a 30-second span, that will indicate that you are just clicking and not reading the advertiser`s website, and your site will be disqualified.
10. Webmasters may not click on any ad more than once in any 24 hour period.
11. Ads supplied by Google are specificlly excluded from earning points towards the PowerPoints challenge due to their terms of service.
12. OurChurch.Com has introduced new tracking methods in an attempt to prevent fraud. These methods require a visitor's web browser have a browser feature called "cookies" enabled. If a visitor does not have cookies enabled, the website will not receive points for their actions.
13. Websites will be disqualified at the sole discretion of OurChurch.Com.
14. If you suspect another site is artificially inflating their score, please do not take the situation into your own hands but rather contact OurChurch.Com and allow us to handle it.

If you have noticed a sudden drop in PowerPoints, please note that the awards for PowerPoints are given every month. Therefore, each month everyone's PowerPoints are reset to zero, giving everyone an equal opportunity to win the awards no matter when they may have started their websites.
