The sitemap is a useful feature for two reasons. First, it is handy for helping your visitors to find pages quickly and to see how the topics relate to one another. Second, the sitemap is an easy and effective tool for enhancing search engine ratings for your website.
It is advisable to place the sitemap module on a page of its own due to the potential for taking up a lot of space. The sitemap is designed to instantly display a "Table of Contents" for your webiste in an easy-to-ready tree structure that will show main pages and sub-pages. As pages are added or deleted, the sitemap will automatically update.
You can add the Sitemap module to any page using the "Insert Module" feature when editing a page. For more information about how to insert a module, please see the "Modules: Insert a Module" help page.
*Note: The Sitemap module is available with all hosting packages, including the free websites.
