RSS content can be read using software called an "RSS reader". The user subscribes to a feed by entering the feed's link into the reader or by clicking an RSS icon in a browser that initiates the subscription process. The reader checks the user's subscribed feeds regularly for new content, downloading any updates that it finds.
Internet Explorer users view feeds on the Feeds tab in the Favorites Center. To view your feeds, click the Favorites Center button, and then click Feeds.
Internet Explorer also provides the Common Feed List to other programs. This allows you to subscribe to feeds with Internet Explorer and read them in other programs, such as e-mail clients.
*Tip: Like a newsletter, the RSS feature is a great way to keep in contact with visitors, keep them up-to-date, and get them to return to your website. If you use the News or Blog modules, encourage visitors to use the RSS feature
