Graphical e-Newsletters
One of the unique features of OurChurch.Com's previous web builder, BEACON, was the e-Newsletter feature. This feature allowed you to keep members up to date by sending newsletters via email and allowed visitors to your website to register to receive those newsletters right on your site.
The NE1™ web builder also has this unique website feature, but on steroids. (To all the baseball fans out there, I apologize for the reference.) The NE1™ e-Newsletter feature allows you to use an editing system similar to the WYSIWYG page editor. You can format text, change text color, make it bold, italics, etc. In addition, you can add graphics to make the newsletter more appealing or show some pictures of last months events.
Compatible with MS Word:
That's right! The NE1™ e-Newsletter feature has a "Paste from Word" feature which allows you to just copy and paste info from a MS Word document to your newsletter and keep the formatting from the original Word document (graphics must be added separately). Gone are days when you have to create two different newsletters, one for paper and for online. Just create your newsletter in Word and then copy/paste it into your e-Newsletter!!
Sign Up Online:
In addition to being able to send newsletters via email directly from your website, visitors can sign up to receive those newsletters on your website as well. No more contacting you via email and asking to be put on the list. Just put the registration form on your NE1™ website and visitors can signup with ease. If you are worried about who signs up, you can also set it so each email account has to respond to a verification email and you can also set it so you have to approve a registrant before they are added to your email list. If you also have off-line events where people may request to be sent the e-Newsletters, you can either add them online yourself through the registration form or you can simply create your own secondary off-line email list and send to those additional email addresses as well as the online subscribers.
